I saw this short film tonight at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras film festival. It was screening in competition with 7 other films. It was first runner-up as judged by the judges...but most importantly, it won the Audience Award. Great performances from all four leads. The film was touching, funny and sexy. It was interesting to see that it came from the same writer as the movie 'Head On'.

We saw this movie as part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras film festival. It was really funny and we all loved it. We especially loved the end credits that dedicates the movie to Britney Spears! Well shot and hilarious.

We saw this short film (30 minutes long) at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras film festival. It's all very Chaplin-esque and the star (who also directed) is terrific. The gay plot doesn't kick in for a while and perhaps the movie is a tad long for a short, but it looks so sumptious on the screen and the obvious love that the director/actor had for making this film is very obvious. Although it was nice to see Abraham Benrubi (from 'ER') in it, I believe that cutting some of his scenes would have made this film a bit crisper. I'm really looking forward to what else this very talented film-maker is going to come up with next.

I LOOOOOOOVE this movie. I don't know how many times I've seen it in the last few months. I managed to get the DVD from the US (I'm in Australia) and have shown it to all my friends...and now they love it too! We are constantly reciting the lines from this movie to each other. We have become the Margaret Cho fan club in Sydney!!! Margaret is funny as! Last Friday, Margaret was performing live here in Sydney with her new show, 'The Notorious C.H.O.' which has also been filmed. The good news is that her new show consists of completely new material. I can't wait for the DVD of that show to come out too! If you don't mind a bit of raunchy humour, watch this film which is actually a filmed version of Margaret's stand-up performance.

It's always nice to see a gay movie that's just fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. The audience at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras film festival found this movie very funny. There was a lot of laughter in the cinema. The four leads were great and it was interesting to read that the original play was not gay-related. But the film, with its new gay theme, works extremely well. There are lots of cameos, with Doris Roberts being the stand-out. As much as I love Lisa Kudrow in 'Friends', why is it that she's always playing these ditzy characters??????

Screening as part of a series of funny shorts at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras film festival, this film was definitely a highlight. The script is great and the direction and acting was terrific. As another posting said, the actors' comedic timing really made this film. Lots of fun.

Oh, well, this movie starts off well. It's kinda funny and seems like it could be a fun movie. Then it becomes a bit serious and goes off the rails. It sort of wants to be 'Boogie Nights' but it can't achieve it. If only it stayed with the tone of the first quarter of the film...
