We Bare Bears: The Movie (2020)
Great ending.
So, I watched the series We Bare Bears with the funny trio, Grizz, Panda, and Ice bear. I absolutely loved the show. So now I'm done with the series and like any other people would do, I would watch the movie which would serve as the seasons finale. I absolutely loved this movie! The idea of the bears trying to become more known by reenacting funny memes, which I found very funny, and a lot of people watching it. And soon the bears are more recognized because of them saving each other and the other bears. There are some funny times, emotional times, and times where there's Agent Trout. But this movie is very great. It even has the bears friends we all know and love in the movie, even though they got less screen time, but I'm glad that they were still there. Also I can't forget to mention Officer Murphy, when I was watching the series I actually liked the character but disappointed that he didn't get that much episodes, however this movie says otherwise and I'm glad officer Murphy was in this movie and saved the bears. In my opinion, I wish the movie was a little longer but regardless it's still good. And to be honest with you, after the movie I was crying because now the beloved bears were gone. They did have a spin off called we baby bears but still doesn't have the same atmosphere this movie and series had. I bet if Daniel Chong were to direct the spin off, it would be better buh, eh. Anyways after this review I'm gonna rewatch it and this is one of my favorite movies! I do recommend watching it.
The Amazing Digital Circus (2023)
Very great!!
So, I was scrolling on TikTok and I kept seeing videos about this show. And without even watching it I was like "What's so good about it, it's just new." But then today I decided to be the judge of that and OH. MY. GOD. ITS SO GOOD. When I first saw the animation I was already blown away. The plots perfect, the VAs did a great job. And props to whoever composed the music for the show. I really like the story of Pomni who appears to be stuck in a digital world and has a headset on. The story is really creative and I do hope more will be coming in the near future. I love every single bit of it. And Jax is my favorite character, he's funny and sassy. And overall, a big FAT 10/10!!! And whoever hasn't watched it yet and are having 2nd thoughts about it, I definitely recommend!
CartoonMania: The Movie (2019)
Honestly a decent movie
Now if I had to be honest with you, i think this movie was actually quite good. I've noticed that Matthew has shaded all his characters to give a good look. But the only thing is that there are some questionable scenes like how Jojo kissed Stanley out of nowhere, and how Timmy and Tanya kissed in Lucifer's room. Another thing I like about this is that it features more voice actors. I even like the mob scene of how Matthew and his 320 other characters are marching to end Lucifer Killingsworth. And that ending scene where Matthew was screaming at Lucifer and basically just killing him was really cool to watch. But overall, It's a great and funny movie with decent animation and a decent plot.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder (2022)
A bad excuse for a reboot, straight up bad.
So like the first time I saw this reboot, I was pretty impressed by the animation. The theme song sounded good and I kinds vibed with it. But digging more further into the show I saw that it wasn't the same. So first off it's the modern humor, pretty much most of the characters say "slay" "period" "the glowup is real" and tons of cringy words. I like the old show better, for starters it was classic. And it was more funnier than the reboot. I laughed probably more than 2 times when watching that. But the reboot I haven't even laughed once. And for some reason I was kind of surprised to hear Oscar say "Damn" in the very first episode. I mean Penny and her friends are grown up, and of course Sticky wasn't in the show because his voice actor, Orlando Brown, was arrested and I forgot for what, but that's why Sticky wasn't in the show. Now second, it's because of it's corny ass jokes. The jokes in this show aren't even funny, they're old, and they're cringe. You would have to have a humor of a hot cheeto girl to find this funny. Even they're jokes are cringy and they're not even funny at all. So like in the second season in one episode, it featured a joke where a guy said "Ima end this mans whole career" and straight up roasts him and the whole crows goes crazy. Well that was what was going on in the second season. Like it was unfunny and they copy and pasted the animation like 3 times. And it made it even more weird because it didn't have audio playing. Also I was kind of surprised to see that in the second season it's animation improved more. Like it was at 24 fps or above that. But overall, the show is bad, it's cringe, it has corny and the most terrible jokes, and I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather stick to the old series because it was much more better.
Cats Don't Dance (1997)
Truly the best and very underrated movie!
This movie has to be one of my favorite movies of all time, and when I mean favorite movie I mean FAVORITE MOVIE. I haven't seen any movies like this in a while, and it follows an excellent plot! The movie is currently free on YouTube and I decided to watch the movie, when I first seen it it took me by storm! It had a wonderful animation, great details, and it had pretty good and funny facial expressions! I really wish that this movie had a series, or at least a sequel. But let's just talk about the movie itself. Danny and Sawyer have a really good relationship. And there is one scene in the movie that Sawyer sees Danny's to-do list, and she says "Get the part? Check. Get the girl? Check." At that point Danny realizes and I think it was one of the cutest scenes ever!!!! And the soundtrack is fantastic! My favorite one would have to be "Big and Loud" by Darla Dimple. It sounds pretty chaotic and that's the part I like about it! And if anyone were to ask me who my favorite character was, it would have to be Sawyer, yes she got annoyed by Danny at first, but then she felt bad for him after he had to leave Hollywood, and her song really was beautiful. Sawyer is also sassy at times. And she has a good relationship with Danny. Mark Dindal, thank you and the staff for making this masterpiece. I could rewatch it over 100 times! Mark Dindal you are truly the best director ever and make the most recognizable movies. But, overall, it's the very best movie in my book, it has a terrific plot, and I would definitely recommend watching it! It's on YouTube for free, Apple TV, Google Play movies, and yeah!
Block 13 (2000)
It's decent
Now this is obviously a ripoff of South Park and usually when it comes to these ripoffs I get pretty negative about them. But call me crazy, but I think this show is pretty good, I'm not saying it's awesome compared to south park, I'm just saying that it's decent. It does have some funny moments and there is a song from the series called "I'm not that innocent" and it sounds low-key good. The shows pretty weird at some times and it kinda doesn't make sense at all. And when I first heard about this show I thought it was the same as south park, I thought this show had bad swears and inappropriate times, turns out that it was not! I see that it's rated PG i mean it does have "Ass" in it but that's what you expect in PG rated series/movies these days. Even though it's an awkward show it has some funny moments in it. The show even feels like a fever dream and it looks like something I've seen before in 2016. But all and all, I wouldn't say the show is awesome and deserves an Oscar, but I would say it's a decent show.
