Best movie of 2008 so far
29 March 2008
I went to this movie with high hopes and this movie met every one of them. It was full of suspense, humor, and an all around good time.

I've come to love Jim Sturgess in everything he does and this movie was no exception. For being a really good looking guy, he played the nerd character quit well. His American accent was flawless and his chemistry with both Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey was perfect.

I was never a fan of Spacey. I'm still not but he did a really good job in this movie. I actually enjoyed watching him play with his students emotions and use them for his benefit.

I'm gonna tell everyone to go see this movie. It's so much fun to watch and it's one of those movies that get you thinking. The math behind all his moves is genius. It was so great I had no idea what was going on. So yes, everyone should see this movie. Go Now!

Give Natalie Portman an Oscar
1 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Never have I seen an actress take control of a movie as much as Portman did with Boleyn. She stepped into the role so perfectly and did it was so much confidence. I could feel her pain and ambition. I started shaking during her downward spiral and couldn't stop. It was so intense and heart pounding.

Jim Sturgess also made a huge impression. His part was small but his performance was big. I wished there had been more of the brother.

The costumes also should win something, anything. They were amazing and really stood out.

All in all it was a a pretty good movie. It really grabbed you and kept you in their world for two hours. I would recommend this to anyone who's old enough because there is a lot of adult material.

Excelled my expectations
23 December 2007
Words can't describe how much I loved National Treasure when I first saw it. It's so historically inaccurate but so much fun to watch. When I found out a second one was being made, happiness over came me. After seeing the trailer for the second movie the first time I had such high expectations for this movie. It met and excelled everyone one of them.

There are a lot of plot holes but it's an all around good time. Nicholas Cage is not my favorite actor but I have such respect and love for this man after seeing him. My favorite line from him has to be "Conner rocks!" And don't even get me started on the love I feel for Justin Bartha. He's just so funny and has great comedic timing. "Save the Queen."

I recommend this movie to everyone because it really does have something for everyone. I'm already looking forward to National Treasure: Page 47.

The highlight of my week
9 August 2007
This show was one the most original and creative on television. Along with the West Wing, also a creation of Sorkin, it went above and beyond what is expected in a show. Not only was it a drama that dealt with real issues but it was also a comedy. Aaron Sorkin is a genius when it comes to writing. I love the dialogue so much that I actually pay attention. In a lot of drama the characters will keep talking and I zone out. Not with this show.

The characters and actors were brilliant. They had great comedic timing and a dramatic edge that made then so lovable yet respectful. Matthew Perry has always been a favorite of mine and I was so happy he was back on television. Bradley Whitford too won my heart in both shows. If there's one thing Sorkin knows other than writing, it's casting.

Alas it was canceled. Even if it didn't get the best ratings it still had dedicated fans who loved their weekly dose of Harriet/Matt or Jordan/Danny. What I can't figure out is why NBC would take that show away and still keep ones that are less profound and well just dumb.

This show was the best and it will be greatly missed.

the best show
7 August 2007
This show is one of the greatest shows that was ever on television. It never failed me in storyline or casting. Sure they had there problems, Cory and Topanga's first meeting, Shawn's siblings, and so on. What show didn't? All of these are made up for with the humor and brilliance of the show. It was comedy that was actually funny and I wasn't afraid the watch it with my parents. It was a great family show that dealt with teen issues respectively and didn't require a lot of drama. I miss this show greatly and wish seasons 4-7 would finally come out. The episodes also are amazing enough that I still haven't gotten tired of watching them. There are shows that I watch once, great, and then I'm done.

The cast is also a wonderful ensemble. You couldn't have asked for better parents, Will Friedle (Eric) had great comic timing, Rider Strong (Shawn) had a dramatic side to his sly and sweet character, William Daniels (Mr. Feeny) is my dream teacher, and Ben Savage (Cory) is the character I wish were real more than anything. The cast also had this timeless chemistry that makes the show.

Anyone who dislikes this show, even a little, seriously needs to watch it again. And those who have yet to see it need to get the DVDs, ABC Family, or Disney channel because you don't know what you're missing.

The only reason I give the show a 9 instead of a 10 is because no show is perfect, but this comes really close.

It was good
20 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Awesome except for a few minor details.

This movie was amazing in many ways and also a little disappointing. Nikki Blonsky who plays Tracy was not the best. In my opinion she didn't have what was needed. Zac Efron was hilarious and so was Joh Travolta. When he came on screen as a women I almost fell out of my chair laughing. And throughout the movie he was so cute and sweet. He's one of my favorite actresses. Amanda Bynes and James Marsden were also great. And lets not forget Queen Latifah who can do no wrong.

My major problem was that the movie was not the play. The play was so happy and cute and everyone was perfect. The movie had some miscasting and was a little depressing at parts. Also the fact that some of the songs from the show were cut and new ones were written was a little disappointing. But besides that the movie was great.

I'd say go see it but if you're a huge fan of the musical don't get your hopes up that it will be the same.
