Ryan (2004)
This is art
12 November 2004
I had seen Chris Landreth's Bingo when I worked at Alias, and I was very impressed by the evident creativity that involved in Landreth's work. . His work is very unique and no cliché, and most importantly, visually very interesting. I have yet to see anyone to produce a 3d short that's as advanced in terms of the creative use of the 3d tool. . My personal belief is, the Ryan is much more than just a 3d documentary(also a very new genre in 3d animation I believe), it is a piece of art, and the medium is computer animation.

28 Days Later (2002)
Horrible, no wonder it's in the Horror genre.

Warning: Spoilers
This is really disappointing. I read the plot outline and expected to be scared. But it's nothing about gore, plus the story is confusing.

<SPOILER> It's only been 28 days since the virus started and the soldiers are already thinking about continuing mankind? Hannah was emotionless when her father died but cried for Jim when he died in the hospital(the 2nd ending version), how is that?

Everytime before the infected appear we know it already, and to me it just doesn't have enough material to keep me suspended. It just lacks variety. And the endings are the biggest put off, both endings are actually the same, only one is with Jim and the tagline says: "see the ending you don't dare imagine". Gosh, I really didn't dare.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

This is a kind of movie that: You don't have to be a good person, as long as you are better than your opponent. You don't have to behave, as long as you can make jokes. You don't have to be polite, as long as your girlfriend is not around. I wonder what kind of message this movie is trying to make. Only because you have a good goal(buying back grandma's house) and then complete it shouldn't make you a hero. This movie is directly targeting at the teenagers and yet they used an extreme way to suit the teens' appetite, that's sad. That's why there are so many divorces nowaways. Because your boyfriend doesn't have to be a good guy as long as he's good to you, at least that's what you think before the marriage. Then when the 2 people finally get together Happy Gilmore is going to punch Virginia in the face just like how he punched other golf players, because Virginia burnt the steak.

Very entertaining and funny

The funnest line in the movie I think is when Steve Zahn says There is a God, then... Well to me it's not really predictable and many times I thought that's yes something new happens, so it never ran out of surprise. I had fun watching it. And my, Gilbert's character is such a whooly-wooly.(meaning, herlarious)
