Terrifier 2 (2022)
finish your popcorn if you can
A movie that largely focuses on the art of killing, without any apparent reason, I just want to kill!"
During its development, we observed that the story begins with a basic plot, but doesn't delve any further. If you are looking for a movie that explores the plot in depth, please search elsewhere.
This movie impresses with its metrics, as the director has created an impressive production with a very low budget of 250 thousand dollars. Within the first fifteen minutes, I set aside my popcorn and just focused on the deaths and brutal scenes throughout the movie.
Terrifier 2 is like an announcement that terror will continue to evolve, and possibly become even more extreme. With the success Terrifier had on the big screen, who knows, we may see a trilogy with a bigger budget in the future?
The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
This is beautiful, but after 40 minutes it looks undocked
You see, I don't see a problem with the fact that the series addresses more controversial topics, as long as they are well embedded in the plot.
Here, we see an action series that removes the focus from its main actors to focus on a romance, which at first does not make much sense.
I would love that at the end we were seeing a plot fit where all the characters would be "killing together," but we don't see that (at least not until now).
For this reason, the practically 40 minutes that passed in the demonstration and construction of the novel, which were very well-designed scenes, in theory took time that could be being developed with more energizing things that would make more sense.
Conclusion: Beautiful scenes, very well designed, but an undocking that took an unnecessary amount of time. A few minutes would be enough.
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey: When Knowledge Conquered Fear (2014)
The union of galaxies
How not to be enchanted by the brilliance of this episode? Through it we notice the various actors involved in the history of the creation of primary laws for scientific consolidation.
Nowadays, we usually elect several members as activators of the "new way of doing science", but in this episode we see that there were many other actors.
The narrative is well constructed, the scenes are beautiful! And, there's no way not to be enchanted by those final 40 seconds. Neil takes a risk and hits the nail on the head when he proposes bringing the past and the future together.
Watch this episode and invite your friends to travel with you.
