Tires (2024–2025)

GIVE ME SEASON 2!!!!!
31 May 2024
Tires has got to be the most surprising funny show I have seen in a very long time. Sure it seems super basic and 'Office-like', but the dialogue and manners that each and every one of the characters has is so ridiculously funny especially with each situation they get themselves into. I wish that there were a couple more episodes in the season, but it's perfect that another season was just announced a day after the first season was released. If you love 'The Office' or 'Parks and Recreation' I highly suggest you watch this show, but if you are not into a lot of cussing an extremely crude humor, continue with caution. I can't wait for Season 2!!!!!

Attack on Titan (2013–2023)

I have never been more satisfied with an ending!
29 May 2024
I'm going to start with saying thank you to Tetsuro Araki and Hajime Isayama for creating this masterpiece. I have never started an anime with so many questions and theories from episode 1 all the way down to the last 2 movies. Eren Yeager is definitely my favorite character in Anime history and might be my favorite character in entertainment. I never thought it would get to this point and the journey we went on with him and his friends to discover the truth of everything was so insane it had me leaping off the couch because I thought I had everything figured out each season, but noooooo there was more to the secret of the titans and royalty over and over again which blew my mind even more. Unbelievable ending and unbelievable story. Thank you so much and hope for another project similar in the future.

Atlas (2024)

Atlas and Smith is the duo I needed
29 May 2024
I heard so many people hated this movie that I needed to see it myself, and after finishing it... it honestly wasn't as bad as people were saying it was. Smith and Atlas' relationship definitely made the movie much more watchable and salvageable almost like the Mandalorian and Droid relationship. The CGI and green screen wasn't the best along with the story, but the dialogue that Atlas and Smith get into throughout the movie had me in my seat waiting for another funny line to come up. If they were to do a second Atlas movie I would not be mad or annoyed about it, but I hope that they can introduce a couple more characters that we can actually care about that also pilot mechs or are soldiers. Overall not as bad a movie that I thought it was going to be.

Furiosa: The Road Warrior
27 May 2024
Mad Max: Fury Road definitely set the bar higher than ever for Mad Max films of the future, but Furiosa does a great job of staying on pace and making it a great prequel to watch in the future leading into 'Mad Max: Fury Road". Furiosa's journey from a little brave kid to a road warrior is one of the coolest stories for a spin off character ever. The way she lost her arm was justified and sad as well, but one thing that I was sad about was how much green screen went into filming. It made sense to do it at times, but the thing that made Mad Max 1-3 standout to me (including Fury Road) was the practical effects and ridiculously awesome car designs. Chris Hemsworth does an amazing job as the villian of the story and Anya Taylor-Joy is truly FURIOSA!

ALSO, WOULD LOVE TO GIVE BIG SHOUTOUT TO CHARLIZE THERON WHO GAVE US FURIOSA'S VERY FIRST APPEARANCE AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS AMAZING CHARACTER! HOPEFULLY SHE WILL RETURN FOR A FUTURE MAD MAX PROJECT!

Ladies and Gentlemen... THE NEW MORBIUS!!!!
17 February 2024
... I don't even know how to start this... that was TERRIBLE... when I first read the plot for this movie I thought "man, Spider-Women trying to protect Ben, Mary , and baby Peter Parker from getting killed by Spider-Man villians sounds cool" but when they changed the plot to this... I threw up... The camera angles and CGI were so bad I feel like Michael Bay would've shot this movie for free just to help. The acting and dialogue was so poor it almost seemed like a Kindergarten kid scribbled it with crayons somehow into a script. The action scenes were so boring I checked my phone to see who directed it just so I never watch a movie directed by them again. This movie made me want to give the 2010 Avatar: The Last Airbender movie another try... I'm just in utter shock... I don't even know why I gave this movie a 2/10 and I feel like that's generous. There was absolutely NOTHING LIKABLE about this movie and it's sad...

If you love the Bible, go into this movie with an open mind lol
14 January 2024
This was an interesting take on the New Testament story of Jesus and Clarence. Of course it was inaccurate to the Bible, but we could tell it was going to be based off the trailer. There were a lot of funny moments in this movie that left me and others trying to hold in our laughter, but the way things were going it was hard not to. The beginning and middle of the movie was boring a bit for me which made me tune out because it seemed obvious what was going to happen, but the story took an unexpected turn towards the end of the movie that actually got my attention. The music and soundtrack was very good to me, but honestly it wasn't a bad film, just don't expect anything to be just like the Bible.

Very, very interesting to watch, but I wish for a different ending
12 January 2024
I could tell that something was off when a bunch of people were going to a deserted island to eat food, but I did not expect what was going to take course for the rest of the movie. Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) scared me once again in another movie. This gave me Saw vibes, but not as extreme. I'm still confused on some points of the movie as to why the certain chefs were a part of his plan and what they may have done to be there, but it's a movie and what I saw was satisfactory. I wish there was more to show us after the ending we got, but I guess it might be something for us to interpret on our own. I did not feel that the ending was the best and maybe wayyy too short for my liking.

Boat scenes were nice, but nothing new
11 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
After watching "Inglorious B*******" for the first time a couple days ago (which I loved by the way) this was a nicer way of sticking it to Hitler in a non-violent, less Quentin Tarantino way which I missed while watching this. There were some nice scenes that somewhat connected the crew together along with nice scenes of them in the water rowing the boat, but if I am being real... it doesn't really do anything new or interesting compared to other Olympic feel good stories. It follows the same plan as other sports feel good movies which makes it a little boring to watch because you know EXACTLY what is going to happen next. It was shot pretty well, but it just didn't feel special or different. I'm glad we made Hitler angry though.

P. S. Lt. Aldo Raine would have made the funniest coach to "The Boys in the Boat" (think about it)

Honestly... not bad at all
3 January 2024
I went in with low expectations, but if I'm being honest (speaking as an Aquaman hater besides the animated version on the Justice League Animated show) I liked this movie. Black Manta honestly was really, really cool in this sequel and the fight scenes that took place in this movie were what I expect superhero films to do more of when it comes to beings going toe-to-toe with super strength. The fight scenes that take place towards the end of the movie is what I was hoping for Ant-Man 3, The Flash, and The Marvels to show us so I appreciate James Wan and everyone else who worked on the editing and fight choreography. After seeing this movie, I wish this wasn't the end of the DCEU, or Jason Momoa's Aquaman. I don't know how Gunn is going to top it, but it will be interesting to see.
