The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Great movie, a true Tim Burton classic.
Great film, and I definitely recommend it! I do have some minor problems with it, however. As great as a film as it is there are some plot holes such as when Jack is in Christmas town. When he's done in Christmas town it doesn't explain how he's able to get back?? It's also doesn't explain how he's able to go into real life, or if he was already in an abandoned woods in reality. We don't get any context on that.
I'm able to overlook the cons and I have re-watched this movie many times with my father, and I really recommend watching this it's such a creative cross between two of the most well-known holidays!
Joshua and the Promised Land (2003)
Don't promise what you can't provide.
This film tried, it really did. 2003 animation and a minimal team behind it. I suppose it's goal was "the next Veggitales"... 😬
This film looks abysmal. Not even 1 million pounds could tempt me into watching this genuine dog crap. Don't promise what you can't provide. 🤦
Useful video:

This film is truly terrible. There was no clear moral, HORRID animation and even worse voice acting. Pop filters are not that expensive...
Unless you are a sucker for pain, do not torture yourself watching this. I say this for your own sake,
Truly.
Saberspark (2011)
Watching as I write!☺
So far I am spending the spring break with snacks and saber spark vids. They are witty and serious, with a funny and humerous touch to them.
An underrated channel in my opinion. Sometimes his channel can be targeted by people he talks about (I'm looking at you red ape family) and they always get a slice of that bitter karma pie. I never truly understood stuff like nfts and what makes a movie good or bad, but saber always has at least one small part of a video dedicated to this.
Great channel overall! I would definitely recommend anybody over a certain age to watch saber spark.
Great job saber. 😌
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022)
Superier to all the others.
This stop motion movie truly took my heart. All 4 times of watching. First time I thought "why not watch it" was in early January of 2023, as I have never truly cared for Pinnochio. When I watched it, I saw just how beautiful it was and the healthy moral(s) that it contained. In a way, it touches a hard topic (death) and executes it perfectly. Even the pickiest of people when it comes to movies would enjoy.
My only problem, however, is that here and there is some pacing issues.
I usually have a lot more problems, so this movie did WELL.
When it won the Oscars, I was happy. From the gags of poor Sebastian J. Cricket being smashed to Pinnochio being sent away to train in an Italian youth camp, the movie always accomplishes the vibe it wants to set.
This wonderful Pinnochio is set in the grim times of ww1. Geppetto loses his son to a bomb, chucked down by a plane that needed more storage. Geppettos town wasn't even a target.
Geppetto plants his sons keepsake, a perfect pine cone, behind his grave and visits nearly every day. The pine progresses into a towering oak, and this is where our story begins.
I truly love how Pinnochio was made. Geppetto cuts the oak tree in a drunken rage, claiming he will make Carlo again. He is extremely annoyed when this little wooden puppet comes to life and becomes a great burden.
Best film ever.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)
Amazing!! Recommended!
This is spectacular. I got to witness this in the cinema and honestly it's worth the money. The film is a little on the long side (2hrs 20m) but it makes up by having action scenes that are very engaging, an interesting storyline, and good pacing. The characters embark on, not only a group mission, but their own little emotional side quests. Take Simon, for example.
He may be helping in the proper mission, but he also embarks on a small side quest on self confidence and having that said confidence to stand up to others and truly reach his full potential.
All in all, great movie! Highly recommend to all you d&d fans!
Finding Jesus (2020)
Why does this exist 💀
A terrible movie that not only rips off finding Nemo, but tries to cater towards unsuspecting Christian families who will fall for this shameless cash grab. Some movies are so bad it's funny. This was plain bad. I am so happy I did not purchase this movie and watched it over YouTube. Worst hour and like 15 minutes of my life. Half of the movie is just these little fish things (doesn't feel right to call them real fish) swimming in an empty ocean and "reciting" Bible verses. I had the pleasure of being around family members who shared my pain, and would all equally agree that this movie is terrible. This is the reason god stays in heaven...
