Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010)
Small budget, but big heart
This movie is just amazing. It might not have amazing visuals, but the rest is just perfect. I love the humor in this movie, the action they packed into this film, and how the actors are giving 100% from them. Seriously, their acting is just top notch. As I mentioned this movie is also packed with amazing humor. My two favorite jokes were the one about german tourists, and the one about why Tiger Mafia is walking slowly. Wakaliwood made a better movie having only 200 $ as a budget than many big film industries having hundreds of milions more. In conclusion this movie is very good and I would have given it 10/10, but there is one thing that keeps me from doing this: we didn't got an answer to the main question, which is "Who killed captain Alex?". But who knows? Maybe in the next movie we will find the answer?
The Polar Express (2004)
The best Christmas movie
This is definitly the best Christmas movie for me. I watched it like 10 times and I would watch it again with pleasure. As far as I remember I was a massive train fan so seeing a movie about magical train was something amazing for 8 year old me. This film really has something magical in it. It also had one of the best (if not the best) scenes on any Christmas movie. I'm talking about the scene where they found themself on an ice and they had to get to the other side of the lake, where were the tracks. The fact that the driver literally drifted a train on an ice is something so ridicuolus that I can watch it over and over again and it would still be awesome. Great movie.
Yamatarô kaeru (1986)
Masterpiece
I decided to watch it mostly because it had trains in it, but after watching it I realised that it had much more to offer. A little bear that becomes friends with a steam locomotive is an intresting and original concept, and it may seem crazy at first but after watching it you realise how good it acctualy is. This anime has an amazing story, amazing characters, amazing ending, amazing everything. The dubbing was also great. I never thought that an anime based on a children's books would be this good. Trully one of the best short films in history. If you haven't watched it yet, I definitly recommend it.
