Eddsworld (2003– )

A staple in the golden age of flash movies
17 April 2023
Eddsworld has not only been a great piece on its own, but it has influenced so many other wonderful works of art that would not exist without this series. It's unique sense of humor and character development are some of the main reasons as to why it got so popular, along with being one of the pioneers of popular flash animation on websites such as Newgrounds. If you were to pick up some of the earlier episodes from a decade ago, its surprising how it holds up today. It might not be the best of whatever you may think, but it most certainly is plain dumb fun every step of the way, and it inspired so much with just the power of the internet.

Regular Show (2010–2017)
10/10
Anything but regular
17 April 2023
Because of its main audience, many could be quick to dismiss regular show as just another one of the shows on cartoon network, but taking a second look, they would be horribly mistaken.

Regular show is consistently good with its zany plots and characters who you watch develop over the course of 8 wonderful seasons. It never seemed to get stale with its wonderful cast of characters and its hilarious writing, and even through all of the wacky scenarios it manages to keep itself grounded and have a solid story to back it up. The ending without saying spoilers is one of the most heartfelt moments that I've ever watched as it really wraps up the future for everyone at the park, and it brings a nice conclusion to one of the true stars of 2d cartoons.

You could pick a random episode from its 261 episode catalog, and 9 times out of 10 it would be remarkable in its writing and delivery, if you were to watch the entire series from its beginning to end you'd be surprised on how fresh it managed to stay throughout it's entire duration.

A cinematic classic
17 April 2023
I cannot begin to recount the amount of quips, gags, and story elements that have been proudly made in this one movie. This film was so good that it was intended to be the final spongebob episode, ever.

Where do I even start? It's almost as if every second of this film is crafted with the most charm that has been ever brought to cinema, with great humor to boot. Not only is it a great kids movie, but I could feel that anybody with a good sense of humor could enjoy this movie to a great extent, which is a huge factor in why (in my opinion) this is one of the most iconic 2d animated films to hit the big screen.

Great movie, everything a Mario movie should be
17 April 2023
When it was revealed that Illumination was taking course one of the main creators of the film, it was quite concerning considering the shaky credibility of some of their movies. But when this film showed at my local theatre, I was glad to see that It was not a flop, but rather an actual good film piece. I am a big Mario fan, and seeing the Nintendo logo and him on screen was certainly a shock (especially after the last Mario themed film) but it fills everything it needed to be, something great.

Trying not to get into any spoilers, if you are also a Nintendo fan there are many little easter eggs and little details that make the movie all of the more special, if you keep a keen eye out you can spot a lot of the heart and soul that this movie came packed into. The story is not overbearing, and it isn't mind numbing colors either. There is a clear focus and it's obvious that there was very much care and thought put into it, Instead of being what a lot of people expected which was a cash grab for children and nostalgia bait.

One of the only reasons I created an account
17 April 2023
As in the title, this show in itself was a heavy factor in making an IMDB.

Going into this show I was a HUGE hater of all things anime, especially things that look like they were made with the intent purpose of baiting sales from weird horny dudes in their 20s.

I was not expecting much from a show about high school women, but when I gave it a chance... When I tell you this is one of the most funniest shows that I have ever had the pleasure of watching, with a beautifully crafted atmosphere. Its funny, but everything feels grounded enough to feel real and like it has a good purpose being there. Not only was it a pioneer of its own type of "anime school" type genre, but it has 100% stood the test of time in terms of watchability, and nothing feels dated (besides from certain clichés but to be fair its because this show did them first so you really cannot hold that against it).

The team took the manga series that this show was based on, and not only did it increase the amount of content, but it expanded apon the jokes and scenes without making anything feel too drawn out.

Its not like this show doesn't have any substance either, you get to watch this party of 6 (8 if you count the teachers) slowly bond closer with each other, and growing (metaphorically and literally) along the way.

I mean it when I say that this is a must watch for anybody looking for a good laugh with a side of heartfelt moments, this is truly an exceptional piece of work.
