Roots of a Rising City (2023)
Recommended
The short film I've ever seen that manages to present a city's documentary in such an engaging manner that you don't become bored in its brief running time.
The film also displays some creative and technical resources to emphasise on the theses being suggested by the author. The composition of the takes and coordination between the narrative and the visual resources facilitate the audio-spectator's depiction of the arguments used.
Great short film overall, and recommended for anyone that would like an alternative point of view of a Barranquilla.
I highly recommend us to watch this movie. Its lovely and educative.
Remembering (2022)
Inspiring Movie
This marks a significant advancement in the evolution of theatrical films, setting a new standard for innovation in visual storytelling. With breathtaking visuals and a charming story that resonates with every writer's journey, this film proves that simplicity can be just as impactful as grandiose ideas. Brie Larson gives a magnificent performance, elevating the film's simple premise to new heights.
Everyone always wonders what the next big thing in the theatrical film will be. Not in terms of story, but innovation. Remembering is the first big step towards that venture, with breathtaking visuals and a cute story that showcases every writer at some point in their career. Brie Larson does a lot with such a simple premise and I hope that this method is used more and more as it continues to grow and expand. As creative minds continue to write fantastic stories, we need to remember as a society to lift them up and encourage them to keep going. Much like our main character, storytellers struggle to be in touch with their true imagination. It's only when we encourage them and give them this hope that they will truly shine.
