This may be the best B Grade action movie ever, simply because it takes Flash Gordon, Roeper from Enter The Dragon, Rusty from National Lampoon's European Vacation and Golan/Globus's best bad guy, Richard Lynch!! Throw in the "greatest actor in the world, the WORLD!!!" Mickey Rooney, and get the movie directed by b-movie star Jalal Merhi's brother Joseph Merhi, and you have MAXIMUM FORCE, the well oiled machine of a movie that delivers with 2nd rate action, 3rd rate nudity, and a cameo from former porn star Sonny Landham (as a pimp), who's taken on Carl Weathers, Eddie Murphy, Chuck Norris, Sylvester Stallone, AND Arnold himself. Seriously, this movie is something you're bound to see late night on tv, but that is good since it will help you fall asleep.

It's really funny to see people making fun of Lou Ferrigno's acting and speaking, without actually knowing, HE IS DEAF. THAT is why he looks like he isn't speaking properly. His entire voice is dubbed by somebody else. He actually dosen't speak perfectly, but does a good job of mouthing the words. Of course the special effects for this movie would suck ass now, however, consider the time it was made. SPOILER... He does throw the bear into outer space, but don't forget the fact that he also throws a log into outer space. Sure, the acting is very cheezeball, but you must love the sleazy/slimy/greasy/oily Caeser looking dude who betrays Herc after he cleans the stables. This is a classic that remember along all the other great Italian Gladiator/barbarian movies made by Golan/Globus's CANNON group. These are the guys responsible for Masters of The Universe, The Barbarian Brothers, and of course, the movie made back to back with Hercules; The 7 Magnificent Gladiators. At least this movie is better than its horrendous sequel, Hercules 2:The Quest for Zeus's Seven Thunderbolts. Now THAT is crap. I give this movie 13/17
