The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
i never saw a film 10 times ...
...untill fotr and ttt came out.
in fact i saw them 3 times continuously. unfortunately i have to wait for rotk ee to sit back in my chair and sink into middle earth for nearly 12 hours. lotr is one huge film, not a bunch of sequels. if you want that go and watch star trek for christ's sake!
i can't say anything new about this film that hasn't been already said. only that i've been quite dissapointed with changes in both films at first viewing. but then i saw them again and again, and i realized one thing: i could not make better films. pj has done awesome work! thanks to pj lotr will live forever, as long as the mankind exists.
hey all you self esteemed critics, could you do better?!?!
All or Nothing (2002)
unique psychological study!
i'll be quite concise ... i never imagined that there's a director who dared to develop psychological profiles of every character of his film to the smallest detail! pure perfection!

mankind is cancer to this planet ...
the movie is great, like every other international project that includes strong impressions. three of them (israel, bosnia and egypt) should've been cut out. especially bosnian clip, which is pathetic beyond all reason, and doesn't contain a single original thought or element on it's own. everything else is really great, unrecognizable for most of americans, known for the rest of the world. unfortunately, clips speak about misery of the people all over the world. and, as i see it, there are so many of those who won't give a damn about it...
top 5: 1. loach 2. penn 3. inarritu 4. lalouche 5. imamura
Boomerang (2001)
cool & insane :o)))
well, if you're into basara's books, this is a must see movie! but if you hate them (there's no indifference towards basara, you love him or hate him) don't bother and find something else to watch/read :) but if you haven't read anything, you might take a look and find a whole lot of brilliant/insane/drunk/psychedelic/delirious/ ideas/thoughts/lifephilosophies.
it's that good.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
i've been waiting all my life for this but...
... but i didn't get what i wanted. okay, the movie is wonderful, it's a masterpiece, really. no one can deny that. but there are certain details that bother me: 0. extremely stupid zig-zag horse race (i hate hollywood; it had to stick its nose even in this movie) 1. even more stupid appearance of liv tyler (it's not her that bothers me; it's that EVERYTHING is rearranged [= spoiled] just for her) 2. the most stupid love scene between arwen and strider which DOES NOT EXIST in book (i hate hollywood again) 3. completely insane scene : saruman vs gandalf - the fight of the year (by that moment i really realized how i hate hollywood) 4. whole movie is too short. it should last at least 6 hours!
okay, enough! things that i need to know are: 0. why do people crave for romance&violence in every goddamn movie?
1. why can't they enjoy in pure tolkien world? 2. why can't anyone provide us pure tolkien world? 3. why do directors have to pollute their own creations so the movie could earn some money? 4. why are people buying that?!?!
