First, it must be stated, I haven't seen all the other Mission Impossible Movies. I don't know if this was a continuation from those, but I found this very slow. It was odd, that 30 minutes in, the credits were still being shown on the screen Tom Cruise's character was boring. He seemed like an average guy, nothing like a James Bond, Bruce Wayne, etc. The story bored me, it was very slow moving. There was a lot of pointless dialogue, that was completely unnecessary to the plot. This would have been good as a two hour film, there was a lot that could have been edited out. Not nearly enough action.

This movie was horrible. I really wanted to like it, but everything about it was bad. It was supposed to be based on a true story, but it couldn't have been more fiction. I don't want to include any spoilers, but the amount of beatings/shootings/flames the characters take would have put them in the hospital, if not died. There was no character build up, and they expect you to know who is who. One of the characters gets his face sliced, then it's completely healed. Just so fake, horrible dialogue, weak acting, and it could have been half as long. It wasn't Tree of Life bad, but I highly suggest skipping this one.

Everyone loves Willie! 90 years old, all smiles! This movie is a gem, very thankful I got to see it on the big screen. I loved seeing local Denverites Nathaniel Rateliff & Wesley Schultz. Loved seeing Willie on stage with so many other musicians. Could have done without Billy Strings, but I get it, everyone needs to push him in our faces 24/7.

My only complaint, no Sturgill Simpson. Sturgill is the greatest musician alive, and hadn't played live for years before this performance. I felt deceived, with Sturgill Simpson on the poster for this movie, but leaving him out of the film, not cool.

If Sturgill was in this movie, I would give it 10 stars.
