This movie was very beautiful: the visuals, the music, the voice cast, the stop-motion effects. It was indeed very pleasant to watch.
The characters were witty and enjoyable, too. However, I couldn't completely enjoy the story. In particular, Mr. Fox drags his family and his whole community into chaos, yet somehow he re-emerges as a hero. He keeps saying that "they are wild animals" but somehow he is the only one truly enjoying the mischievous adventures. I don't know how it is in the book, but it would have helped me if the other animals shared his "wild" sentiments. Otherwise, Mr. Fox came across as ambitious and adventurous to me, somebody who posed people close to him to unnecessary risks.
