very good film about friendship

Stunning visuals in 1.33 giving the film a nostalgic entrancing sense of youth. This only enhances the soul of the film, Pietros and Bruno's friendship intertwined with their unique search for their path and purpose in life.

It tells the tale of a lifelong friendship that survives distance and arguments. This film exudes emotions that are difficult to explain.

Friends fight and reunite throughout their lifelong bond but are held to a peak of spiritual providence by the fathers they and the ones they wish they didn't. Words like 'moving' and 'immersive' are reductive insults. Allow yourself to be lifted as life unfolds in hours and see the light go through you.

Delving so deeply into the lives of two individuals and trying to understand their feelings and emotions is nearly impossible, yet the directors make you feel like you're right there with them. I can connect with this great movie.

A terrible family
3 July 2023
An unbearable family, ugly people and unlikable characters, hysterical and immature. The series aims to depict human fragility, but in the end, it showcases the neurosis of the director and the writers. The characters don't feel real, they shout and run all the time, they don't listen to each other. Everything seems to be done in service of the narrative pace, neglecting the depth of the characters' psychology. Even the family secret seems far-fetched, placed there by the screenwriters to create suspense, but it comes across as false and doesn't help with understanding. The film was already lacking credibility, but the series reaches a truly low level.

Highly recomended

A compelling heartwarming and unique story. I've never seen a movie like this mixing in a nice way drama, comedy and a political statement. I really adore this film!

Families are messy and complicated and sometimes they fall apart and come together in ways that aren't traditional but that doesn't make them any less valid.

This film has a good level of complexity. It may not seem so at start, but it does. It struck me on many points. It challenges the definition of Family and addresses the reality, stigma and stereotypes that LGBT families have to face in Italy or elsewhere, including the USA.

It was the first film I watch that focus on being a child of an LGBT couple. It shows LGBT parents and straight parents are both chaotic.

It has plot twists that I didn't expect, and I love it. Just to quote a couple : The plot of the rock climbing when I saw the two boys kissing was a nice surprise. There are some comedic relief moments like the bathroom scene that was funny and interesting.

Furthermore, it was good to see a story about a married gay couple because we have seen enough coming out stories. At the end I smiled, laughed, cried, and went nuts throughout the film.

The direction was simple and precise, without overdoing it or drawing attention to itself. It masterfully guided the actors on a path of balance between drama and comedy.

Perfection. Everyone should watch this film it's on Netflix!
