Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)
Witty, comedic, flawed
Although the movie stars can be charismatic, and charming but there is a enormous problem witch can be over looked on some occasions but the extent that it goes to with the sub-plot involving the baby-sitter is obscene. I will never understand why the writer thought that it was ok to include a 17 year-old taking erotic pictures to send to a 40 year old man. Even more to that I just found it deeply disturbing to see that same 17 year-old give those same erotic pictures to a 13 year-old. Admitted the film does make up for some of the disturbance with the superb chemistry between Gosling and Stone and Gosling and Carell; the changing room/ sauna sequence and the night that stone and gosling's character spend together are two stand out laugh out loud scenes as well as any interaction between Marisa Tomei and Steve Carell. In short this film to me is a heartfelt, witty comedy which touches up on some things which they shouldn't have but over all a good film, you might just have to overlook one detail.
