The Last House on the Left (1972)
hm...
*minor spoilers*
my dvd didnt come with a film. i saw 1hour 20 minutes of trailers but no film??.. but seriously what the hell was this? what the hell is the music about?!?!? there carrying bodies out of there house and just look at the music there playing! this film made me laugh! there are a LOT LOT better disturbing horror films. after reading about how disturbing this film was and taking orders from my brother not to watch it (when he was out it did :P) i found it to be awful. it was not disturbing what so ever. the teenagers shouldnt have been asking for the weed in the first place! and then they walk into a strangers house!! AHH!!!! i would give this film 5 and no more.. its boring, repetative and nothing special or new here. dont waste your time, money, and popcorn.
Cannibal Holocaust (1980)
Wonderful, heartwarming film
*minor spoilers*
calm me evil if you must but parts of this film i found UTTERLY heart warming, other parts gruesome, and other parts disturbing, shocking and cruel. this film has it all - sadness, happyiness, horror, shock and more. watching the uncut version i found the scene where the person filming the documentry raped the child disturbing, disgusting and evil. i hope they edited this out in the cut. BUT saying this - most of the rest of the film made up for it. i found the ending to be GREAT! - i wonder who the real cannibals are. great ending line leaving us to think about the movie for another hour or so after we watch it. i gave this movie a 9 and should deserve more - go out and rent it, buy it, enjoy it.
Going Off Big Time (2000)
Great Crime Film
*minor spoilers*
i rented this film out after having heard nothing about it, it just looked good. by god, i was right! this film is great! it had some very funny parts, some more serious parts and a cleverly crafted ending. i enjoyed the prison bit at the beggining of the film too, im into prison films. my mom liked this film too - she didnt want to rent it out at first, but by god she changed her mind ^_^ if you want a good nite with some popcorn this is the film - worth a rent out if not buy it
Bend It Like Beckham (2002)
average film
i went with my brother to see this film because he wanted me to go. i thought "football, no way". but when i actually saw it i wasnt dissapointed. it was funny in parts, and was worth seing. Gurinder Chadha has done a great job directing the film even with the low budjet.the film is basically about a indian girl who wants to play football. she is selected for a team but her parents dont want her to play.

The Last Castle (2001)
brilliant, worth watching over and over
the first time i saw this film in the cinema i loved it. i like prison films. we've seen films like this before but who cares? it is emotional, thrilling, and has a terrific ending. so i decided to watch it again. . . and when it comes out on dvd to buy i'll be sure to get it. the acting is great, the story line is great and it surely deserves a first class salute.

Paper Bullets (1999)
great action film
this film is great. the story is about a cop who is pushed to the edge when an important witness is killed. a mysterious hitman from an unknown Chinese gang opens fire at a police confrence and some of the cops best friends are killed. . . .the cop is soon investigating and it leads to the kidnapping of his own son. . . etc.... i found it to be one of the best action films i have ever seen and i went out and bought it on DVD. James Russo acts very well in it, as does Jeff Wincott. definetly worth watching. ..
