Cheaper by the Dozen (2003)
i saw the screening and was very impressed..
i saw the screening yesterday not expecting much, but found myself thoroughly enjoying this movie.. not only is it funny and clever, but also heartwarming without being over the top.. and especially great family movie, but also fun to see with friends.. teenage stars hillary duff and tom welling will surely draw fans, but it's the younger actors and actresses in this movie that really make it memorable.. i most definitely recommend this movie when it comes out..
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
So much better than the first...
I really enjoyed this movie much more than the first one. There weren't any noticeable special effects glitches or choppy scenes like there were in the first, and it seemed that the quality of the acting was much better, too. Emma Watson and Ginny Weasley were excellent, I thought, and Ron Weasley was very good as well. Wonderful!!
MVP: Most Valuable Primate (2000)
Surprisingly Loved It!
What appears as another random, corny pet movie, turned out to be really good and entertaining. Jack the chimp provided a lot of laughs throughout the movie, which followed deaf Tara and her older brother in the local hockey team...Really, a very good movie.
Ice Age (2002)
Adorable!
This was such a cute movie, and entertaining, I went to see it with my little brother, thinking I was making a sacrifice, but from the opening sequence until the very end, I found myself very much enjoying it. A great family movie, but also entertaining for all ages.
Tru Confessions (2002)
Wow...
This hits so close to home...The story itself is wonderful and moving, with a very important message. The movie is well-made with outstanding acting. Finally, a Disney movie that mimics real life, and does a fine job. A definite must-see.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Even Hayden can't bring this movie down
I just saw Episode II, and unlike the masses, I really liked it! It isn't the most action-packed movie I've ever seen, but it's definately worth seeing, it's very interesting and explains a lot if you've seen the 4th through 6th episodes. The one thing I really found upsetting was Hayden's performance as Anakin. He just didn't convince me, I felt like I was watching an amatuer on screen...Maybe his performance was supposed to be confusing, hinting at his inner turmoil...either way, great movie! Can't wait until the next one comes out!
