There are a LOT of great embedded/inside jokes here. This is SO bad, that it's actually good. I'm only about 20% through this and have heartily guffawed at least twice at nuanced jokes. I'm almost scared to watch the rest of it. The inside jokes are hilarious but the camp is absolutely off the charts. Plays to political stereotypes and current events. If the rest of the movie is like the first 20 minutes, this is a massive undiscovered diamond for Star Trek fans - especially those who embrace parody and farce. The level of "stupid" is mind boggling - and SO worth it. The segues away from the main story line are weird and hilarious. This is Kentucky Fried Movie for a new generation.
