World War III (1982)
Decent Show - Plot needs some work.
Russians try to occupy an Alaskan pipeline pumping station to use it to push remote detonated explosives into 30+ miles of pipeline in order to use it as a ransom to end a US wheat embargo.
Destroying the whole line would take 3+ years to repair, and the US would be oil starved the whole time.
Poorly equipped US national guardsman defending the station against "elite" Russian paratroopers are cut off from help because of a massive storm.
Simple solution...
...US guardsman, instead of "holding out" for 3 days why not just blow up the pumping station?
The Russians then have no way to send explosives into the line and destroy the whole pipeline.
The station would take a few months AT MOST, to repair.
Other than that plot problem, the rest of the movie was entertaining and worth a watch.

Effects, Cinematography and sets are not bad, the rest, well not good.
This show suffers from some of the same problems that the "Shannara Chronicles" suffered from.
They took some good ideas/source materials, and ruined it with very bad script writing, bad casting and too much effort trying to appeal to so-called "progressive minded" young audiences.
On the positive side, the show has good effects, good location selection/sets and has nice cinematography.
If you are looking for good fantasy/scifi viewing and don't have time to sample all of the newer shows, give this one a pass. There are much better shows to watch. But, if you have already watched just about everything and are looking to see something new, and you don't mind unlikable characters spouting childish dialog this show is a viable time filler.
