Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
Amazing Movie
Five Nights at Freddy's is a video-game adaptation of the game by the same name, and was very highly anticipated for several years. And, for the most part, I think this movie delivered.
Even if you didn't like this movie, you have to agree that the opening was amazing. We get a short introduction, both to the main character and the film's main antagonists. The rest of the film is also pretty good - especially the robbery scene.
My only criticism would be the animatronics' friendliness in the fort-building sequence. Even though it seemed a bit strange, I can still let it off since it is canon game-lore that the animatronics would do this.
Overall, pretty good movie.
No Through Road (2009)
Amazing Show
No Through Road is definitely one of my favourite shows that I have ever watched. The mysterious story that it tells is better than any other internet horror show, only being told through four episodes. The way that everything connects back together in the finale is absolutely perfect. It also doesn't include the typical spooky faces jumping at the camera randomly, instead it builds up suspense to eventually show the main killer - who is also incredibly terrifying and haunting. One of the most impressive things about this series is that, especially the first episode, is mostly improvised - which is why the characters feel actually real. Overall, this series is a must-watch and is definitely one of, if not, the best internet horror show ever created.
The Walten Files (2020)
Better Than FNAF
The Walten Files is an amazing show that has several disturbing moments.
Episode 01 - Company Introductory Tape starts the series off slow. It introduces us to Bunny Smiles Inc, a company which has previously had several mysteries surrounding it. We even get to see one of these gruesome kills toward the end of the episode.
Episode 02 - The Relocate Project revives the series, however. No longer just a short introduction, we see several tapes which all happen at the same time - a contrast to the tapes being all over the place in the prior episode. Once again, we get to see a gruesome kill, even more horrific this time. This episode keeps you hooked onto what will come.
Episode 03 - BunnyFarm brings in a lot more scares. Following the previous episodes, it takes a new direction of a haunted arcade game. This allows to show several haunting deaths, even more disturbing than before. Finally, Episode 04 - CyberFun Tech brings the series in another new direction. Now less centred around spooky scares, instead it begins to tell an interesting story - still with some disturbing moments. It also takes the series away from found footage, instead making it an animated horror series. Overall, the series is very promising and gets me exited for the upcoming episodes.
Don't Hug Me I'm Scared (2022)
Perfect TV Show
This adaptation of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared improves the series in many ways. You don't even have to watch the original series before watching this one - although all the references to the old series makes it much more enjoyable. The gore is still there, and the amount of disturbing imagery is kept the same. They also improved a whole lot on the comedy, which, unlike the old show, is sure to make you laugh several times. There's many moments in this show that are just hilarious and will make you want to watch it over again. The lore is also built on even more than the first show, hinting at an interesting backstory throughout the show. There's not a single episode of this series that missed the mark. Overall, this show is one of the best that I have ever watched.
