Terror on the Prairie (2022)
Very Weak Production
I was extremely disappointed with Terror on the Prairie to say the least. I am a huge western lover, but this film did absolutely nothing for me.
DailyWire, a company that I have been a subscriber of since day one, has not held up to the standard I hoped for in movies and tv series's. The ideas are great, but the final product just sucks. I'm usually very forgiving, but they need to held accountable for this atrocity.
To start, the very first things I couldn't get passed were the scenes and camera arrangements. Half the time, I couldn't make out people's facial expressions because of camera distance or lighting.
There was no pull from scene to scene. Meaning, I was not emotionally invested with anyone to care what came next. I was not curious what would happen from scene to scene, because I was not left wondering anything. It's all in the writing and timing of scene changes.
Anyway, I don't recommend. They need to make employee changes. Lacking in creativity.
Mr. Birchum (2024)
Flat Jokes, Monotone Voice Acting
This was the least funny animated sitcom I've ever watched. I was waiting for jokes to hit, but the monotone voice acting and pace left stale delivery. DailyWire has great ideas, but I find myself extremely disappointed with the final products when they release.
I thought Mr. Birchum was supposed to be a Ron Swanson-esque character, a no-nonsense manly-man with a soft and charming side you see peak out every now and again. I just found Adam Carolla's raspy voice hard to listen to and the character of Mr. Birchum was too much of a Facebook comment section boomer.
Better screenwriters would really help. All in all, I probably won't be watching this show.
