1999 where is it??.
20 September 2022
Absolutely don't know where this performance is, but I so very much want to see it. I love, love, love Burt Bacharach's music and Elvis Costello isn't too bad, though not one of my favorites. But back to Bury, he and Hal David made magic. I recently watched a PBS donation please program. I was amazed at the number of songs I remembered (and sang along with, maybe not to my neighbors liking but I don'tcare) and LOVED all over again!!! And it wasn't just dionne but a range of performers. Burt, and I, are both now old and decrepit but in our youth he was beautiful and talented and during the glory years, so was I. That doesn't die.

Who you hating and why
19 September 2022
I started watching The Talk on semi-regular basis (I have daytime things to do). Hated Sharon Osborne's arrogance. I'm watching more now and enjoying it a lot more. I don't always agree with the panels opinion, but at least understand it's about more than "I'm someone special so I rule". Like it more now, especially with today's episode where time was spent remembering an executive producer who died recently. The memories were very personal and touching. How very kind and especially how very human.

Usually a quick mention is all you get. No background, no humanity. This segment was very human. Loved it.

Early Morning Fun
22 March 2022
Originally a 1930s radio broadcast from the Tip Top Club in the Allerton Hotel in Chicago. It included celebrity interviews and audience participation. Although it was not appreciated by broadcast upper management it laid the foundation for today's morning shows.

Trying Tttoo Hard

Love Kenan's SNL performances. The talent is there.. This is far from that. MIGHT be better if he, and others, take it a little, or a lot, easier-slower. Being frantic is not good.

History not in the making

The railroad compitators worked very hard. Why was it so difficult. Did no one know or care about "The Gandy Dancers" after the people who build the cross country US railroad from the East to the Mid-West. Just so you know the Gandy Dancers were Black and the sancing was coordinated so they all worked together. Also, from the West to the Mid-West the railroad was build by Asians.

Why was this cancelled?????
10 August 2019
This program was an original. Different, unusual, creative and well presented. Was this one of those projects created for "tax purposes???" to fail? It was a good, interesting show. Why get rid of it for the junk CBS presents now???

Stupid Fun

This program is so bad it's good. Don't, don't, whatever you do, don't take it seriously. It is not meant to make sense, just silly.

Boring
25 January 2019
This film could/should have been interesting and exciting. It was neither. The attempt to be very intense and maybe (given a revealing tragedy) intimate (?) failed. Amazingly the production and presentation were high quality, as was the acting. But the low key, slow storytelling just made it boring.
