my friend bought the movie for 5€ (its is not even 1 cent worth), because they wrote it was like American pie. but we would soon find out that there is a long way from American pie to that piece of crap. it is not even a comedy, its more like a really really really bad documentary. not only the story is bad, the picture and sound also sucks to. they put in some alcohol, chicks, dwarfs and drunken teens. and the result is a disaster. if you see this movie don't buy it, rather spend your money on something else, and better. if you are gonna torture yourself, then don't invite your friend/s, unless you hate really much and you want to get rid of them.

i only saw the half movie, so bad is it. yeah i turned it of, the pain was to big. the story should happen in Denmark, but the location does not even look like Denmark. not to mention that they changed the story of Beowulf. and made Grendel the monster, to an angry Neanderthal that seeks revenge. i remember Grendel as a troll, living in a swamp with his mother. in the poem Beowulf rip the arm of Grendel, who runs home to his mother, and die. later Beowulf come to the swamp and kills Grendel's mother. instead of that there is also strange persons like a witch and a Christian monk, that is making all the people to Christians. Denmark became Christian later, in 965 (the poem is from the 700 century). i think they were to lazy to even look on pictures from Denmark and read the danish history. it could have been a good movie, if they don't changed the story and they actually had filmed in Denmark, instead of Island.
