Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)
Entertaining in some ways, annoying yes in many ways.
I remember a time that Tara Reid could act, or at least a bit. As well as she went from attractive to not, the acting of her gone sadly into the same negative direction. Of course it ain't a movie to take seriously, as this must be the James Bond in horror movies, but than at least do the movie right and don't make those many mistakes. 1 example is that the sharks are everywhere but when you see a shot of the actors up close no shark can be seen in the background ever... This is only 1 of the mistakes the movie is full of. I ain't gonna list it here as I wouldn't be done by tomorrow. What I did like was the humor in it, but the bad acting, faults, irrelevant of lines and happenings made it to the point that I could only give this movie 2/10. Some say it's so bad you must love it and yes in some ways thats true, but keeps far from loving it. Still I want to see Sharknado 3, and yes I know what to expect out of it and I don't think I will be disappointed in that.
Enemies Closer (2013)
Skip this one
I thought to myself lets watch a Van Damme movie. Turn of the brains and just watch some action. Boy was I wrong. Because of all the faults and mistakes and bad acting it annoyed me and made me think that why on earth they made this movie. Van Damme plays the bad guy but he ain't bad as in bad guy but bad as in bad acting. If you thought his acting was a joke than better not look at his ridiculous haircut. Some fight-scenes were cool to watch which made the movie not the worst movie to watch (saved it from the 1 star ranking for me). A twist in the end as what became necessary nowadays but was okay for me. If you like to see or find mistakes and bad story lines in movies than this is a must see if you like action movies with a story line don't watch it, than waist your time on another bad movie :P
Children of the Corn (2009)
Don't miss the ending!!!!!!!!
Let me start with the most important thing if you managed to sit through the whole movie. After the credit-role the movie continues for about 2 and a half minute. This remake is not a remake from the first movie but from the story. A couple is driving over the road when they hit a boy. They find out that his throat is cut. And decide to get his body to the next town. Where the children are the boss and where no adults are. Before they get to the town the couple is only fighting. He is stubborn and she is all the bad words I can find for a woman. You just want her to get smacked in the face and when that finally happens your glad and hope she is going to be quiet, don't count on that. Then you want her to die and fortunately that could happen because it's a King movie. Normally you have to have sympathy for the leading characters in a movie but not in this one. You want them to die. The boy they cast for Issac wasn't very good and convincing. Things happen and suddenly it's end movie and you have something like WTF? Then after the credits it continues a bit. If you want tension and suspense watch the first Children of the corn. Or you could always read the story (it's only a few pages).
Book of Blood (2009)
No hellraiser but not bad at all
A teacher is going to invest a house where strange things have happened in the past together with a co-worker (who has the equipment) and a new student who appears to have a gift. Strange things happen in the house which lets eventually to a climax because the dead want to be heard. Normally I don't like a story in a story and here it wasn't any different in the beginning but in the end when they came back to the present time some cool things happen in which you can re-find the writer of hellraiser mister Clive Barker. Good effects, good acting, good story. I think the movie is most suitable for horror-fans. If you're not into the genre I think this movie will disappoint you.
Halloween II (2009)
Bit disappointing
I liked the first remake from Zombie very much but this second one is definitely much worse. In stead of following the old story it's almost a new movie (not much things are the same). I liked the old once and I liked Halloween 1 by Rob Zombie. Zombie messes up the characters pretty bad. Dr. Loomis is just an arrogant bastard in stead of helping like the original. Laurie (Angel) is pretty normal in the first movie but a totally f*ck*d up b*tch in this second movie. Okay it is not bad acting from Scout (Laurie) she makes a good performance but to different from the Laurie in the first part and nothing in common with Jamie-Lee Curtis in the old one. I liked the Michael Meyers in this movie. And if you like a lot of cursing, violence and blood then you will eventually like this movie enough. If the stupid scenes with Michaels mother and himself as a little boy were left out then I would have rated this movie a 7 out of 10 but because the scenes are that stupid I rated it a 6.
Black Water (2007)
Hard to believe
Don't read any further if you don't want to know anything about what happens in the movie. It is a tense thriller and well made. All along the movie there is a threat of the crocodile which makes it really tense. The location is good and so are the actors. The things why I cannot give the movie a higher grate is because it isn't realistic at all. The crocodile is for real but the things that happen not. If you get caught by a crocodile at your leg you have more then just a big bleeding scratch. But that wasn't the worst. That was when one girl (Lee), two times get caught by the crocodile. Let's just say that she really was just bruised, two broken fingers and a bite-mark from two teeth then you just have to explain to me how she can climb into a tree without screaming from pain. And she is also stupid, when a crocodile goes under water you don't just stand still with a gun in the water just waiting for him the come up sometime anywhere. Only watch this movie for the tension otherwise I would recommend you watch another movie.
