I tried to like it. "LEPRECHAUN:ORIGINS"
23 August 2014
VERY disappointing. I'm a very HUGE Leprechaun fan. I love the Warwick movies. I was excited for it to be scary again. It wasn't, in fact the older ones are scarier.

The Leprechaun doesn't speak, just makes animal sounds and growls. You NEVER see a full shot of the Leprechaun. Its not even shown a lot. I don't see why they even needed an actor for the Leprechaun? If you told me it was CGI and a fake puppet.. I would believe it. Hornswoggle had really no acting opportunity here. Who ever was in charge of creating a leprechaun did a LAZY BORING UNCREATIVE job. Its like the Descent meets vampire. I'd rather have a talking, rhyming Leprechaun then one who just growls.

I expected more. It seems like SYFY put this together. Just make Leprechaun 7 with Warwick! This should have been a stand alone killer Leprechaun film by WWE. It should have never been in the remake category.

Only one kill was really fun and shocking, I jumped. I give it a 4 on IMDb - C level grade wise.

It Surprised Me!
4 May 2011
I watched this on a bored day and knowing it was a B movie. I was really surprised by this film. I was curious in watching on of Brett Kellys movies, Prey for the Beast is my first film of his to watch (on Youtube).

The film has very interesting characters and very good acting. Two of the girls actually acted awful but most of them pretty decent jobs. Brett Kelly played his role well. I wan't a little more gore and creative kills, but it does give you about two good kills a lot of screen or the same kill.

My favorite thing about this was the editing style and camera shots of the forest. The creature looks fairly well for the budget, they shouldn't of showed at as much though.

Check it out when you have a chance, if your into B movie horror that it is.

Just One of the Girls (1993 Video)

Very Good Movie
1 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Just One of the Girls is a well put, comedy. I recommend this film. This is one of Corey Haims top 5 best roles. I'd say number 5 actually. The Lost Boys, Blown Away, License to Drive and Watchers come before this movie.

This is one of Corey Haim's better roles. This doesn't do better than Blown Away but its watchable. Very good storyline and camera action. The film could of used more comedic elements. I never seen Corey Haim in this kind of role, its pretty amusing.

If you come across this movie, I suggest you watch it. Other actors include Nicole Eggert (Tv's Baywatch), Lochlyn Munro (Scary Movie, Freddy vs. Jason).

Severed (2005)

Better then Expected..
1 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I watched Severed on you-tube, on a Sunday to cure my boredom. Before I started watching the movie, I guessed that it was going to be cheesy and low budget. I was surprised by this movie, 6 out of 10.

If your a fan of zombie movies this movie is for you! You don't see to many zombie films taking place in a forest. The film was shot very well and had a good actors. None of the cast is recognizable though. The only thing I had a problem with was that a lot of scenes dragged out, mostly towards the end. The film has a pretty good gore level but not too extreme. The zombies seem pretty legit and well played, good make-up effects.

I say check out Severed if you have the time, don't rush though.
