Stuck on You (2003)
Just plain Awful
In a word, I describe this movie as: Awful.
I have seen my fair share of bad movies over the years, but this one actually had me checking my watch every few minutes wondering to myself "When is this thing going to end already!?!" It just seemed to drag on and on with no end in sight. This was a comedy? There was one funny scene in the whole movie...I know this because it was the Only funny scene in the whole movie. As for the acting, I've seen much better, but then again, considering the script they had to work with, I'm surprised it wasn't worse than it was! My biggest complaint of the evening was that I wasted the cost of a movie ticket to see this garbage, and considering it was at the "Dollar-theater", thats not saying much.
Bad, bad movie.
Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001)
Cheesy, Lame, Extremely unbelievable.
I'm not sure if the writers/producers of this show actually think all non-Canadians are actually going to believe that life in the Canadian school system is all roses and "quirky" situations, or if they are just really really bad writers/producers. Either way, its a bad show. Its like "Saved by the Bell" but with even Worse acting (I didn't know that was even possible until I saw this show!)
I can tolerate the "aboot's" more than the horrible scripts and deliveries. Save yourself the 30 minutes and just stare at the wall in total silence...at least then you won't have to tolerate listening to "Ashley's" whining and "oh darkness and despair" garbage. Bleccch!
A Season on the Brink (2002)
Pathetic attempt at making a movie
Its obvious ESPN drools whenever Knight is in the news, but did they have to make a freakin' movie about him? This was THE worst attempt at a serious dramatic movie I have EVER seen. It had it all: terrible acting, terrible dialogue, ridiculous casting, cheap sets, etc etc. It looked like it was shot on a $10 budget. Cummon, whats up with the game scenes? Were they in a middle school gym? And the lighting, well, let me just say it was ridiculous. And Brian Denehy as Bob Knight? Give me a break. Denehey looked like...Denehy in a red sweater, nothing more. ESPN lost a lot of credibility with this flop attempt. They poured millions of $$$ in advertising, then the premier was a huge dissapointment. Bob Knight is not a subject that can be covered in a 2-hour movie. ESPN blew it. Even Knight himself thought it was more stupid than anything else.
A Crack in the Floor (2001)
Horrible
This was by far one of the worst "horror" flicks I have ever had the displeasure of enduring. Despite the fact it appeared as if it were made on a $50 budget, the acting was just as bad. Mario "AC Slater" Lopez has ruined any last hope of any future acting carer by appearing in this thing. And Gary Busey shows his desperation to remain in the film business by shamelessly appearing as a "chicken-killing" mad-man. The movie stars a group of spoiled rich tree-hugging college kids who will never be "coming to a theater near you" again. Trust me, this movie is not worth the tape-dvd it is recorded on.
In Dreams (1999)
Excellent!
This movie is a great example of what most other horror films should strive to be. It was well acted, well scrpited, and the overall appearence and mood of the film was great. The setting and music really added to the excellence of this movie. 2 THUMBS UP!
