Religulous (2008)
Dangerously subjective!
This movie raises a lot of important questions about religion, though you could only wish he did so with a more objective mind, cause its certainly very clear, that he starts out the many interviews with intentions of showing how dumb they sound when answering.
Towards the end he puts his attention to the Islamic belief, however not once do you see him ask any question related to, what Islam brings as evidence if its the truth. Instead he focuses on how Muslims see women, and try's to show that Muslims are aggressive people. A VERY subjective documentary.
Which brings me to the conclusion. Its one thing showing the "crazy" things you see in religion... But not exploring what evidence each religion brings as proof, changes this from a documentary about religion, to a documentary about things from religion that will sound crazy to you.
It has its funny moments, and even though i only gave it 6 out of 10, i can still recommend this, but only to people who shares his opinion. Cause if your deeply Christian, Jew or Muslim, this movie might offend you a lot. Or make you bored.

Very very good.
I love this genre of movies, in which they cancel time and space, and explores some events, from very different angels. Thus giving us the full extend of why these events occurred in the first place.
Unfortently this genre is also very rare.
During the exploration of 5 stories, your gonna see, 2 dead people, a cut-off dick, lots of scamming, several accidents, gun-fire, drunk and irresponsible driving, teenage sex, police chase, and the list goes on... And the best part of it is, this all happens within a 20min time line.
Well executed, great acting and directing. This movie can easily be viewed a second time, thus catching all the details in this complex plot.
This movie i'sent about character development, its about showing us what triggered certain events. Showing us what our actions might bring upon our self, our close ones.. and even strangers.
Gran Torino (2008)
Breath taking... Amazing...
I just watched this movie... and felt i needed to share my experience with other people.
Watching Clint Eastwood interact with people, as the slightly racist and old fashioned Walt Kowalski, is something i hope i never forget. Not only did Clint Eastwood do a really amazing job, playing the role, he also managed to catch some unique moments, directing the movie.
It starts out heavy, with giving Walt a personality from the very first scene, which is why you get stuck to the screen from the beginning to the end.
This is a really great movie. And once again, Clint Eastwood shows off his amazing talent, by sucking you into a universe where you just enjoy every single minute in it.
Very good ending with a twist, extremely realistic.
Watch it.. you will never regret.
Memento (2000)
A Masterpiece?
Imagine being a person who has no short-term memory, imagine that every 10min or so, you memory resets and you have no idea what you been doing up until now... This is a real condition, that some ppl suffer in real life.
Now what Memento does, is show you what its like to suffer such a condition. And this is done beautifully, by editing the movie, in such a way, that you don't know more about whats going on, then our lead character, who suffers this condition.
There's a reason this movie is on the IMDb top 250, at place 28 while i'm writing this. If you haven't seen it yet, and you like thriller/drama/action... Devote some time to this movie. You won't regret it once you understand it.
