You Are My Home (2020)
A gentle and tender film
Why ten stars? Because I wept openly 5 times during this touching movie. Oh my goodness what a heartfelt story. A timely commentary on the plight of the invisible innocents who bear the burden of their place in history. The cast and acting is excellent. The directing superb. This film is a long loving embrace that spans sadness to comfort to sheer joy and delight. A lovely lovely film.
Boardwalk Empire (2010)
Jimmy Darmody's Death make's no sense!!!!
I know that most all of you Boardwalk Empire fan's if not all are very disappointed with the choice to have Jimmy Darmody killed off the show. This make's no sense at all, Terrance Winter has stated that he wanted the story telling to remain truthful because "Jimmy tried to have Nucky killed", and anything short of having him killed off wouldn't be truthful storytelling.
I know for a fact that this is complete BS, in season 1 didn't Arnold Rothstein have a feud with Nucky and try to have him killed? yes he did, and Nucky didn't kill Rothstein, he forgave him and even helped him out, and now take's advice from him in season 2. Terrence Winter you make no sense, do you see what I am saying?
You need to bring Jimmy Darmody back into the cast of your show, play it off as some kind of dream sequence, like jimmy was dreaming about what Nucky could do, etc etc. I know that your show is going to fail without Michael Pitt. I know myself and a lot of the other fan's and I mean a lot know that Boardwalk Empire won't even be anywhere near as good as it was without Michael Pitt's character Jimmy Darmody.
I know that this will most likely not change anything, why would it? I just know that this show is going to get worse and worse, Michael Pitt was such a great and amazing actor, and there isn't anyone that can even compare to his performance on this show, what a shame. I hope I am wrong and the show get's better, but how can it without the most interesting character?
