Not bad!? Definitely Not that good!
26 May 2012
Warning: Spoilers
It's a bit moronic if u give it a thought! And illogical at best!

SPOILERS ALERT!

Idiotic Intelligence Bureau, they know everything about the guy they want to catch, but nothing. Especially they know what the guy looks like, WTF! The freaking thing is they pretend that the guy doesn't exit, that certainly won't help catching the guy!

The silly thing about everything of that guy is wiped, but then there are stinky little bread crumbs everywhere. And the so-called hidden mold in the Bureau, it's kind of obvious! May be not at first, but if they use a bit of their brain and so some investigation, like on the murder of Agnes.

If u look again at the "attack" in the subway, it's LOL! The poison milk gas would not be released under most circumstances, that scene is "funny"!

The final twist!? Why would the guy shown up for some so-called computer files? It's not like the Unintelligence Bureau is gonna catch him anyhow. Simply, he has nothing to lose if he stay away!

The "worst", why the heck would that assassin run away, he's the only one that got a gun. Not once he tried to shoot the chaser, well, the story drags on!

1 star because of the overrated votes...

in a way, ultimately meaningless...
21 March 2010
I started watching this flick on 2010-02-22 9:15pm, and I just finished it on 2010-03-21 3:27pm!

It was painful for the 1st and 2nd sessions, which I was hoping it to finish, finish, finish. Then I just watched it a bit from time to time, hence a month!

If this is a children story according to the original book, then this film actually fails in every way, cause there's nothing interesting at all in this flick.

This movie is sad, as there's no difference for the people who get it or not. No one will give a "beep"! I have read several reviews that people who don't like it, but still give it a 6 or 7. This flick, as such a disappointment, but nonetheless, serious production!? Illusional, ie.

Please don't insult Fight Club!
18 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
After the not so interesting start, I've actually split this 130min flick into 20min episodes.

Hoping I will eventually see the potentials of it, but Miike, what a disappointment.

Why base on a manga if it's no fun, boring, with crappy fight scenes.

The worst is I can't believe some people actually compare it with Fight Club. What an insult!!

I guess those people just love to see those young men screams at the last fight scene.

If this crap is 6.9/10 in IMDb, then Fight Club would be at least 898/10, period.

As sh it as it gets...
3 April 2009
this one is the vomit of craps.

May be there are not enough 1 star comments to put me off this "horror" stupidity, I regret.

Must one pray to see the light of god pointing to a decent flick? May be one should. One should also pray for those "poor" producers to get poorer!!

I would believe a 5 yr old may enjoy it. Even it's R-rated, I highly recommend it to those who are less than 6!!

As the law, those who F sh it up will remain to do so, no matter being paid or not.

All this make-up scenes of hope!?
13 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Well, I did not suppose to type anything for this one, I thought it was good enough and others should watch and feel it themselves. But after a night of sleep, I suddenly realize that Hollywood has probably made some "stupid" changes on this so-called "True Story".

Spoiler: In the end about this "hope" and all, and how the woman never stop looking for her son Walter... The thing is, according to this flick, there's still a boy who knew what really happen to Walter. May be she's too lost to be aware of that, but the lawyer or the cop should know that pretty well!!

So what did really happen?

Afro Samurai: Resurrection (2009 TV Movie)
2/10
Oh, there couldn't be a third!?
7 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I was happy when Afro was killed at the end in this one, which is probably a better ending imho! It actually makes me think "Good, there won't be a third, cause Afro is dead!". But like the title, he has to be resurrected too... This one is such a drag, the theme of hatred and revenge is no fun when guilt has a part. Or the silly conscience that suddenly comes back from a "brain dead" droid, though creating another tragic feeling of "my time is wasted".

In a psychology point of view, this one does fit its original intend, a TV movie. With all the silly ads u have to watch in between, you may want to think more about your life, how educational!! Watch the Afro Samura (DC, the movie, 2007) by all mean!! But this one, u may as well take a dump while watching... now i wish i have a psp!!

The Propaganda - The Hurt Locker, spit and clean
28 January 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This one is probably as worst as "Vantage Point"! Some scenes' setups are unbelievably stupid!! Actually all the bomb scenes are stupid.

1st bomb scene: "remote detonation(!!)", the bomber just has to show his face, and to detonate the bomb when the bomb disposal specialist is walking away.

2nd bomb scene: 1+7 bombs, kinda in middle of a T-junction of residential area, half abandoned. Bomber is observing on few floors up of the building facing the T-junction. Once the specialist find all the bombs, the bomber starts to walk down stairs in a mini-fast pace. Specialist starts to disarm the bombs (one by one?), bomber keeps walking downstairs. The specialist is done and find a wire that lead to the side of the building, where the wire can be connected by a battery and detonate the bombs. The bomber walks out of the building, walk along the building, stops in front of the specialist for half a minute, specialist holds up the fuse he disarmed from a bomb, the bomber walks away.

Let's pause here, 1st scene, one bomb, powerful enough to destroy a small building. 2nd scene, 8 bombs, and has to detonate about 10-12 meters away, with a battery!!

LOL!

3rd bomb scenes: 6-7 bombs in a car trunk, car parked funny next to a UN building. UN building, guarded, how can that happen!? Bomber, shoot the car from roof of a building not far. Car bursts in flame, specialist distinguishes the fire, once done, he tries to find the initiating system of the bombs...

Sniper scene, most stupid, which I'm not gonna waste any more time typing it up...

Domino, remove ... the right arm.
28 January 2009
FLAWNESS.

Well, this is 1st!! I can't wait till the movie is finished to post my comments...

As it turns out, Domino, what a pile of shxt... Starts right from the point where she heard "remove ... the right arm" instead of "remove his shirt from his upper right arm"!! Like u have to give instruction to retarded people!? Alright, I can dig that!!! They are a bunch of nervous rack, and instruction would help.

But then they drink the stuff prepared by the woman whose son's arm got shot off by them, now that's fxxking original! And unbelievably stupid...

If u're a son of a powerful mafia, and someone is about to execute u, would u say nothing?

Camorra & Scampia ... which have almost nothing to do in this film!?
9 January 2009
I won't say this is a total waste of time, but it's better off to end when those 2 "kids" got shot, and without showing those facts at the end! Because the facts seem not "related" in the actual film, however, they are what I'm really interested in, the Camorra & Scampia up high. Not those dumb ass in the bottom, which the film depicted inefficiently.

The good: Another side of Italy, what a dump! The waste, what we can't see, it doesn't exist! Great family bond, one's life or betrayal!

The bad: Some scenes are way too dark, and I'm not talking about the night ones!! Some scenes are too long and unnecessary, which the film can be shorten at least 20min to may be keeping the audience awake.

At last, it makes you think. How corrupted the Italian government is, if those facts are real, which I'm not saying they are not...

mixed feelings

After watching it twice...

I could not think of any reason why they left a cop inside the room with Joker. Why not just lock him back to his cell, or simply tire him up to a chair!? No time? Not enough men? ???

Gordon : "Whatever the Joker's planning, it's a good bet Harvey's prisoners are involved. I wanna get them out of here." What?

Blame the story or be the silent guardian?

Is it for the sake of making a movie, a sequel?

Nolan may be losing his "touch" since Batman...

concl: Of course, there are things we could appreciate, except the story.

what a hype... It's just boring...
22 July 2008
It's just boring...

I have not read the comic, and from what I heard, this film is somewhat different and its author does not want to have anything to do with the film. That kinda says a lot.

I'm neutral here, even I'm a NP fan, and that means I really try to like this film. But then it's just boring, and she's definitely not likable in this Evey character.

And when the ad uses "from the directors of MATRIX" etc etc, I'm definitely expecting something more. From the trailer, I'm expecting a Sci-Fi action thriller. Sci-Fi, may be... thrill, none can find... action, just don't get me started...

No one needs to argue that it could be a better film, which also means it's not that good as what it is.

THE 2ND RE-VIEW

After 4 years and 9 months, the memory of all the scenes of this film has finally filtered through the black hole of my 'not-so-'Verbose brainwave, along with the unsatisfactory feelings planted unpleasantly 4 years ago...

Of course, not just the stupid ad that frame it with matrix action pack, the tasteless translation of the dialogues, and the crappy visual quality at that time in that cinema...

Simply, this one worths re-viewing!

The Orphanage (2007)
3/10
Slow, slow, horribly slow and boring
11 May 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I'll be honest here, I haven't finish watching the whole movie. Not that I don't want to, it's just getting really boring. There's no suspense whatsoever till 41 minutes, cause there's where I stopped!!

Compare to "The Orphanage", "The Others" is actually a far better movie. For those who give "Orfanato, El" 7 out 10, please go watch "The Others", it will blow your mind and "Orfanato, El" off.

Now I will tell you why I stopped around 40 minutes of this scenery movie. Around 35 minutes, there's the strange big noise scene ended with an old doll on Simon's bed. Well, it's funny that the husband is right downstairs and heard nothing, until his wife screams. But It's more funny on his facial expression :"Woman, what's it this time? Haven't u got anything better to do than screaming?" Then at 41 minutes, it's 6 months later. Well, I guess the writer needed 6 months of fresh air too, so do I.

An existential mess...
3 February 2005
Our nature is so crack up!? We human usually try to complicate things subconsciously... If u want a meaningful life, just go and do something meaningful. Thinking things that u think they are meaningful are perhaps meaningless!! At this stage of our evolution, we can only live lives but not see through them.

As the movie somehow implies that we're just mere humans. We are "sensitive" to see the problems, but we're too powerless to fix them. Simply, we're the problems...

... i have enough "potential problems" in my life, i guess i shouldn't have 'used' my time for this "philosophy flick" ...

"How am I not myself?" ... who cares??

Bang Rajan (2000)
don't compare :(
10 May 2003
Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** zTagline: there are brave hearts but not the "Braveheart"...

It has good of its own, but don't compare it with "Braveheart". Braveheart does has much much more to offer. However Bang-Rajan is just war and survival, it may have something else but definitely not deep enough to deliver!! An disappointment if compare to Braveheart.

Battle scenes are still "not-bad", a bit messy. Not as powerful, just chops & slashes. The camera angles are jumpy too. Nonetheless, i think they have done a serious job. Good enough for its own name.

***spoilerz***...till the last, even women will go to fight... There's a scene in the last battle i thought which COULD BE the very and the most powerful scene in the movie was when E Taeng Aon got shot on her chest, fell to the arm of her man, both wounded badly. As he was holding her close, also tried desperately to fought off the enemies around them, just sadly powerful. BUT the next second, where the disappointment came, camera changed to he was looking at her, dying, dead, he screamed her name!! That took a total of 10 seconds till he got a fatal sword slash on his back, he died. Personally, i think the 1st part is perfect, but the last part is just there to destroy the 1st, totally wasted. It could have been done in a much much better way, sadly wasted...

thriller!?... just a silly story :(
11 April 2003
zRate: 1/10

This movie is flaw-ness, the director and the writer should just hang themselves for good.

THE BS scene:- The woman's old house was burned when she's a kid, may be not burned down but definitely burned bad. When she and the d-Cop revisit the house, everything is in good shape, just dusty. It's like nothing has happened. Definitely stinks :(

Why would the d-cop give his gun to the woman and go investigate alone without a gun?? Just because he could have two good chances to let the killer gets away. And so the movie can drag on for another hour.

another BS scene:- Outside the Media Art place, where the d-cop should be ran over by the killer and died long ago!? I've watch this part frame by frame. It's impossible for the killer to make a "3-point turn" and face the d-cop at the end. To cover up, the director decided to use scene with car crashing into barrels of water instead.

For those who think this movie is good or even fantastic, all I can say is u haven't watch enough good movies to make a better judgment... SAD...
