brilliant and a epic, with minor but some flaws from a master of cinema
I would give this 9.8 if IMDb allowed the rating. My enjoyment was complete in a theater experience for the the 3 d and wonderful creative world james created. My only complaints....... ( how easy it is to criticize something I couldn't even imagine doing..) lies in parts of the script. I appreciated his no over use of the 3 d, but for my taste I could of used some more in certain scenes to highlight some of natural fears and /height etc.. but i really appreciated it not being a 3d slam. the main male lead was good, but the dialog in the beginning was a little boyish for vet and the female lead was fantastic in holding it all together for all the holes. i know a lot native American references bothered some folks but i felt so what, you need to be bothered about that history, but i am bias with a a blood connection.. as far as the worls , i was happy t6 see a lot of what was other worldly...lies in ours..james's wonderful exploration (which i am a fan of) of the deep sea seems alien to us,,, band the living planet neuro transmitters was wonderful..anyways .overall i loved it..but james needs to get some advise perhaps in male heroes, but has female heroes down. I am in awe and loved it overall!!!
Trauma: That Fragile Hour (2009)
this is the start of something special..
I know there has been a lot of this and that about the show...mostly sticks about reality of EMT's.. come on this drama ...all the cop shows , doctors, lawyers shows ...do you think they are ...exact...everyday?? we watch drama because it isn't everyday..it is the special moments of reality that might, could happen, with the the people that are bigger than life///thats why we watch TV,movies,plays...everyday we see, the everyday of what ifs is what we watch. so enough with that nonsenses.. I thought this one was a great script and the characters got flushed out...you really care about them now., as in any series, it takes awhile to develop the meat...they got it with this one..good job!
I look forward to this series as it makes new ground with it's characters and plots. I hope NBC keeps the series, it has a lot of potential and and is far better than the numbness that is out there on most networks of old school. The actors will live up to the writing as it comes.. don't be afraid of impact, it might serve them well. And the SF scenery is nice to see again in a series!! Go Trauma!!!!
