The Batman (2022)
Worst Batman in years
This movie sucks on so many fronts. It's full of cliches. It's way too long. The script is ridiculously lame. Lines fall like bricks from the actors' mouths. The.cast is... let's say curious.
Surprisingly with all it's flaws the movie is totally watchable. Whoever made the designs, editing and post production saved all that could be saved here.
In short - a watchable bad movie that broke the good batman movie run.
Pankot ne e mrtov (2011)
Surprisingly good - 10/10 !!!
When we saw the movie in Sofia Film Fest 2012 program we were like "there's no chance it's gonna be a good punk movie..." ... I mean... Macedonian punk movie, written and directed by a 58 year old guy... come on... :) But after a couple of beers we decided to give it a chance. And my oh my... What a surprise it was...
The movie is very very good! Script is great, filming is great, actors are surprisingly good... the music... everything...
Now I suppose people who are not from the Balkans might not get most of it... but if you're local you'll surely love it. Everything is so real and it's like... I was totally speechless.
I don't want to give any spoilers by speaking about the story - just go and see it! You won't regret it! 10/10 - probably the best Balkan movie I've ever seen!
(bow) Bravo na Vladimir Blazevski i vsichki ostanali - strahoten film (bow)
Prêt-à-jeter (2010)
Very nice documentary on consumerism and product lifespan
Very nice Spanish/French documentary on consumerism and the history of 'Planned Obsolescence' - companies make products last less, so that customers will have to buy them again and again.
The documentary is very well done and strict in its point of view. I think it is nice that the movie is not from US, as US ones tend to show their opinions on solving the issue a bit too much. You don't need any specific knowledge to go with the movie.
Also it is very good that at some point the movie makes a comparison between western capitalist industry and eastern socialist industry during the cold war. It makes a huge point on what actually happened.
I totally recommend it to everyone.
9/10
