Zaat (1971)
A lot of people say, "What's that?" It's Zaat.
21 January 2003
I can't believe how much this movie filled the depths of my inner being. I picked up a copy of this movie at a local video store, thinking it would be a good laugh, but boy, was I wrong! Marshall Grauer delivers superbly the role of the classic mad scientist, but he gives it an extra zing that I can't explain-you have to see the movie yourself. Don't let me forget Wade Popwell, whose portrayal of the Monster left me without disappointment. You can keep your "Titanic"s and your "Eegah"s; give me Zaat. I give this movie thirteen stars, on a scale of ten, for the superb cinematography, special effects, and an unbeatable supporting cast led by Paul Galloway and Gerald Cruse. Move over, "The Godfather", here comes Zaat.

Kazaam (1996)
Kazaam! Kapow! Kawham! Kazaam steals hearts of Americans
10 January 2003
I can't believe that Shaq was actually good in this movie. This is his crowning achievement of his life, and I have followed Shaq ever since his days at Louisiana State University. I have to admit, that as soon as I saw him in that Pepsi commercial, that I began to question his credibility in acting, but this movie totally restored my faith in the great Shaq Diesel. This movie blew me (and the critics) away. It had everything...something for the family, for those that like comedies, musicals, basketball, genies, and tots; as well as for all those lovers out there... We all know that Shaq gave us burning sensations while we watched him in basketball, but Kazaam raises that sensation to 212 degrees. Wazoo! -John Hurst

Eegah (1962)
Eegah! Eegah scores big with father/son duo.

Eegah taught me a lot of things about life. It taught me how to love, it taught me how to hate, and it taught me how to paaaarrrrtttaaaaayyyy! If you love to get down and dance the night away, then have we got a movie for you! Never once, have I seen so many fantastic elements combined to create such a pristine film. The only word that can describe it is "Eegah!" After watching this movie several times, I finally realized the hidden message behind the word eegah. Eegah is an acronym, and goes as follows.

E-Ecstatic-my mood after watching this movie

E-Envisioned-this film captures everything a film should

G-Gay-this movie made me the happiest I've ever been in my life

A-Archie Hall Jr. and Sr.-that dynamic duo that just wouldn't quit making me smile

H-Hell-I'd go to Hell before giving up my copy of 'Eegah'
