Blue Family (2014)
TOO SIMPLE FOR THE PLOT BUT OK
Based on a true story, this film needed to be more aggressive, the main character could've been scarier, in the beginning of the film it all goes well, but then it becomes kind of boring. This film works for the people who don't like to watch violence and are not into the horror genre. I don't have a problem with the performances, they were ok, it was well made but still it could've been way better. OK to watch for those who don't expect the violence this film deserved so people could see the shocking events. The same happened in the film the Room, which got an oscar... based on a true story and it was such a disappointment, what are these filmmakers afraid of???
Matar a un Hombre (2014)
Independent cinema
A great story, the minimum music used makes it even stronger and real, great acting, very natural. A believable story that could happen to anyone, not at all exaggerated like most movies with good budgets. It's a perfect portrait of the world we live in as humans and how somehow killing would be the only way to live in peace.
Too bad these movies don't reach the audience they should, they deserve better. If anyone has the chance to see it, do it, you'll be glad you did.
It's supposed to be from Chile, I'm Mexican and had to watch it with English subtitles in order to understand the dialogue in Spanish.
White Lines (2020)
Don't waste your time
Watch only if you have nothing else to do, it's a ridiculous premise, can't believe this thing got made. An English woman abandons her husband and 14 year old daughter when she finds out her brother who disappeared 20 years ago, was really murdered and buried in a desert in Spain.
So she leaves her family, she wants to find out who killed her brother, while she does this she sleeps around, parties, goes to the beach, etc... what a great story. Try to avoid if you can
