Three Cheers for Cheating!!!

That is the point of this movie at its core. A point every positive reviewer (and some of the negative ones) seem to miss. They talk about Finn's quest for discovery, or lessons she learned but fail to tell you what the lesson is.

Most of the women in the movie have been cheated on. Finn suspects her fiancee is cheating (but the movie never bothers to find out for sure) Finn's aunt slept with Finn's grandfather (both aunt and grandmother are in the quilting circle) One woman's husband is a serial cheater, and one of the other women in the circle is one of his conquests. She is unapologetic about it, feels completely justified in betraying her friend, and is even indignant that she is getting any attitude about it. While chronicling all of this Finn cheats on her fiancee.

Then a big storm hits and everyone who was angry about being betrayed gets over it. Everyone feeling guilty about cheating gets over it. All the people still currently cheating get to brush it all aside cuz they still love the person they have been unfaithful to. THE END

So there is your great lesson. Everyone cheats, no one should feel bad about it, and promises of faithfulness and fidelity can be casually dismissed

Still in my top 5 worst movies I have ever watched!

There are people that actually liked this dumpster fire? I do not do reviews, but when I saw that this movie had over 7 stars I felt the need to warn people. This movie was an utter bomb. It lost money, (by a lot) and while that isn't enough to prove its a bad movie, it should be enough to get people wondering why it bombed so badly. It is the only movie I have ever seen at a theater where the entire audience groaned at the ending. Everyone continued griping and complaining about it all the way out of the building. It is also the only movie I have ever seen in a theater that was pulled in less than a week. There is a strong contingent (especially among horror fans) that seem to enjoy horrible endings simply because they are horrible, from the positive postings on this movie it appears that all of them fit into that category. If you are not one of them I strongly suggest you find something more entertaining to do, such as gouging your eyeballs out with a drill.

OK you go into a movie like this thinking low budget action, and hoping for some mindless violent fun. You get the mindless part as for fun? good luck.

A bunch of supposed soldiers, while supposedly trying to avoid a cyborg army with a vast number of drones, make camp and stand in the open, randomly fire off their limited ammo, light up the camp at night,

Even after telling another character 'If you want to kill them, aim for the head' Danny and the rest of the 'soldiers' unload thousands of rounds into the bodies of the cyborgs (note these are not terminator-like metal bodies with a flesh shell but human bodies that are supposed to be holding up to all of that lead in them) Repeatedly during crucial moments when they could be escaping, fighting or heck even winning the battle they pause to stare around at each other so that the cyborgs can kill them.

The best soldier of the bunch isn't even one of the soldiers its a freaking tech wizard, who just happened to be super buff, able to fight, and a great shot.

I can't think of a movie of a similar style to this one that I liked less.

OK for starters this movie is so bad that I created an account just to warn you, and to vent.

I am a very forgiving viewer. I can put up with bad acting and effects for a good story, but there was NO story! Many of the other reviews complained about the precredits scene but I even let that slide, hoping for improvements as the filming style was so different, but no that didn't help. 10min into it I actually stopped it and did a search for the title plus the word disjointed. It really was that nonsensical. I gave it another 10 min but it just kept getting worse. You have seen the other reviews telling you there is no plot, or you cant follow it, but seriously I wasn't even sure I could make the spoiler button since there was no plot line to spoil. You jump from one scene to the next, never having anything to do with each other, often cutting off in the middle of one to go to the next. The little bit of dialogue that could be pieced together didn't help. Not only did the dialogue not explain what you had been seeing in the previous scene, it didn't explain the scene it was in, and even at times mentioned things...you hadnt seen happen. Furry ppl be getting no love. The only entertainment value attached to this at all...was reading some of these reviews.
