Dead Fish (2005)
what a waste of time
this pretty much sums it up:
Bad acting, bad directing, bad casting, crappy movie score, bad pacing, uninteresting storytelling, bad plot, rehashed script, crappy dialog, not funny at all. Boring, in fact very boring.
Should be nominated for "worst movie 2004"
What puzzles me the most is how they managed to get names like Oldman and Carlyle to go along with this.
If you're looking for something like "Lock Stock" or "Boondock Saints", this doesn't even come close.
Waste of talent, your time and money.
Amores perros (2000)
ahhh! excellent stuff!!!
This film is simply put brilliant, the photography is stunning. The way the story is told with the timing of the events and shots gives each character time to develop and lets the audience get to know each character and taste their full flavour unlike some Hollywood stuff out there. I'm not going to go into what the story is about as so many others have done that already, infact I will only say this: It's not about what you play, It's how you play it.
If you love "real" movies, see this one!!!
This one is a clear dvd buy!!!

Ghost World (2001)
A brilliant tale
I watched this film yesterday and what an amazing film it was, although i wouldn't recommend this film to anyone i still think it's a masterpiece. There were so many things in the film i could relate to, like the way that art teacher was, and the old man waiting for the bus. This is art at it's best i think, leaving lots and lots of stuff for the viewer to discuss afterwards. As i use to say, "It's not what you paint, It's what you leave out." Some time ago a watched another great film "Suburbia" both films have something in common but it would take too long to explain it here, so if you're serious about your films, rent this one!
