Survivor: If It Smells Like a Rat, Give It Cheese (2008)
Why oh why
Still to this date after 41 seasons, this episode goes down as the dumbest move in Survivor history. If I wasn't so annoyed at Erik's stupidity, I'd feel sorry for him. Because he was trying to do what he felt was right. But Pavarti actually made a point when Erik said "Game aside, I hope there's some sense of forgiveness" and she says "You can't say game aside because we're playing this game". Unintentionally she's drumming it in that it's a game.
One of the biggest flaws people make is when they take their heart into Survivor. If you can't separate yourself from the person you are outside, then you shouldn't even apply on the show. Granted there are tons of people who have applied who've fallen into that trap. Lillian taking Sandra to the final 2 instead of Fairplay, she admitted was her heart deciding. And Sandra won. Why would you apply to the show? Are you there to win the million or not?? She and her family could have used that money. I can't stand people that come on the show like this. It. Is. A. Game. It's not "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast" for nothing.
Unfortunately for Erik, his heart, naivety and indecisiveness led to not only joining that group of people, but setting history. I'll be surprised if there's another move as bad as that one. But then, they don't cast people on the show for their intelligence. A great season overall but this is one of the episodes that every Survivor fan remembers.
Into the Night: Rik (2020)
Get a move on!!
It's a great show but this episode really frustrated me with how long they took to gather supplies etc. They're all walking around having casual conversations when the sun's about to come up.
Then there's 5 minutes left before they had to leave and Sylvie and Jakub are sitting on the bed having a heart to heart conversation then kissing each other. I almost threw something at the TV. MOVE!! Yes I know this isn't really a review but I had to vent somewhere lol
I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (2019)
Great for zany humour
If you liked this, watch Tim and Eric Awesome Show. It's even better. 👍
The Simpsons: Brother from the Same Planet (1993)
Utterly hilarious. Another one for the ages.
One of the funniest episodes of the season, on par with Marge vs the Monorail. The gags are non-stop and features a lot of classic scenes. I was lucky enough to be brought up in the 90's so I got to see the best era of The Simpsons as it was released. And even though I've seen all these countless times, they still make me laugh. This episode is of no exception. If you didn't laugh, you either have no sense of humour or you're in a coma.
