What was i thinking?
23 December 2009
I don't know what I was thinking when I watched this film; I didn't like it at all. I watched the movie because everyone in my class had and said it was really funny, best film of that year; NO. I watched it and was bored all the way through. The movie didn't make sense, it didn't really have a story line and the main characters were so dumb and annoying. Were they supposed to be acting stupid or were the actors just like that because they accepted the role? I'm sorry if I sound mean, but I didn't like that film at all. The only entertaining part of the whole movie was a dance at the end, which only lasted about 1 minute. I didn't find it at all funny or entertaining, I don't know what everyone in my class was on when they watched this film, but I will never trust their judgment in films again. Watch this film if you must, maybe you will see the comedy in the dull piece of crap they call a movie.

Feel good film
2 July 2009
I have seen this movie many times and i never get sick of it. it is about a man coming out of the closet, that he doesn't know he is in. Kevin Kline's character is a teacher and when one of his former students announces Kline's character is gay the people in his town start to speculate whether he is straight or gay. Kline's character starts to wonder if he is straight or gay too. The acting is absolutely fabulous and hilarious by all the cast. I found the movie very funny and heart-warming. i love this movie, it makes you laugh and makes you feel good while watching it. i recommend this movie to everyone, you will have a great time watching it.

True Blood (2008–2014)
10/10
Loved it from the first episode
1 July 2009
Whenever I see a movie or TV show based on a vampire novel I am usually very disappointed with the results, but after watching TrueBlood I got hooked and fell in love. I read the novel Dead Until Dark which is what TrueBlood was based on after I finished watching the series, but the show is almost exactly like the book. There were slight changes such as the character Tara who isn't introduced in the first novel and isn't a major character, but that didn't actually bother me. The characters portrayed in the show are as you imagine them in the book and the acting is fabulous by all the cast. I understand that they may have changed what is in the novel a tiny bit for the show and they do that with many movies and TV shows, they only thing that I wished they could have expressed more was Eric's affection towards Sookie, but I hope that it is shown in later seasons. These are the true vampires that are sexy, dark, seductive, drink human blood and can only come out at night; the way vampires are supposed to be. I recommend you to watch the TV series and read the books; if you love one, you will love the other.

Why do they always destroy a perfectly good story?
26 April 2009
When i rented this movie i wasn't expecting much, the only reason i rented it was because it had Dracula in the name. I know it is a stupid reason but i thought that it would be like another low budget vampire movie that was still entertaining.

The movie as i suspected had a semi good plot, but it was ruined by terrible actors, affects and director. The movie could have been good if they didn't cut everything out. It sounded good when i read the plot at the back of the DVD but when i watched it i was laughing most of the time.

Dracula was played by a large guy who didn't know how to work his fangs. Elizabeth couldn't do an English accent to save her life and her character seemed to whine and whine and whine. Elizabeth's father made me laugh because he was way over dramatic and Bram Stoker... well he just couldn't act.

This movie looked like it was made by students for a school project.

Its just too bad that this movie could have been good.

I recommend that you just skip this film and enjoy your night watching something else.

The best romance i have ever seen
18 April 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is about a man named Florentino Ariza (Javier Bardem) who falls in love with Fermina Urbino (Giovanna Mezzogiorno). They have a secret romance by sending letters to each other, but when her father finds out he sends her away. While she is away they keep in contact, but when she comes back she says to him that she doesn't love him. Florentino still loves Fermina even though she gets married, has children and doesn't speak to him, but he will wait for over 50 years till he has his chance to be with her once again.

This movie is based on a book that i haven't read, but for someone who hasn't read the books, this movie was incredible.

Before i saw the movie i read some comments saying that this move terrible. When i saw the movie i thought that they were crazy. it is the most heartfelt romantic story i have ever seen.

The acting by the whole cast was fabulous. I have never felt so much emotion watching a film and cried so much from sadness and happiness. This is the best film i have ever watched.

This film is about love that lasts a lifetime. It is never too late to be with the one you love.

i recommend everyone to see it 10 / 10
