Audrey Hepburn: In Her Own Words (1993)
She will always be remembered
Always modest and shy,Audrey speaks of her triumphs and disappointments throughout her life. This movie spotlights a most unusual and breathtakingly beautiful actress that Hollywood will never see again. Here, you will see a kind, warm, and compassionate lady that speaks from her heart and recalls her happy and troubled past. Interviews with her(and with her longtime friend,Robert Wolders)show what a genuine lady she was. Being an Audrey Hepburn fan,I highly recommend this film.
Sabrina (1954)
Audrey Hepburn-what a sweetheart!
All I can say is Audrey Hepburn was the most attractive actress that I've ever seen, and she certainly proves this in this movie.Even in the beginning of Sabrina,Hepburn's voice-over instantly draws your attention to this attractive, well mannered actress. Then when you see Audrey for the first time,it is love at first sight-what a beautiful lady she was!Billy Wilder gets a thumbs up for selecting Hepburn as Sabrina-you could say that Hepburn was Sabrina. She had that unusual charm and magical beauty that very few actresses have(even today). If you get this movie, you'll fall in love with Audrey-just like I have.If you compare this movie to the 1995 remake, this movie wins hands down.Sadly, they don't make movies like this anymore.Am I an Audrey Hepburn fan?Of course I am! I always have been and I always will be.
Love in the Afternoon (1957)
She certainly was a pretty lady
Audrey Hepburn plays the daughter(Ariane Chavasse) of a private detective(Maurice Chevalier) who falls in love with one of the subjects,Frank Flanagan(Gary Cooper). Throughout the film,Audrey is very attractive and looks stunning in the various Givenchy dresses she wears.I am very impressed with her good looks and manners and she definately gets my vote of 10 in this movie.
Funny Face (1957)
What an attractive actress she was
Like so many of her movies,Audrey Hepburn puts her heart and soul into this movie. Not only does she act well, but she also does an outstanding job singing and dancing with the also outstanding Fred Astaire.Plus, one of the best color movies in movie history with beautiful music to boot.An excellent movie!
