Clarkson's Farm (2021)
Fantastic and we need more!
Absolutely fantastic show! The red tape and difficulty of farming is brought into every home that presses Play. He is our favorite entertainer, hands down. The first season was Jeremy cutting his teeth on farming. Tractors, waterways, fencing, the shop, and the neighbors make it entertaining. THEN you add in dealing with the Pandemic and it's a perfect documentary.
The second season dealing with Brexit, subsidies and local councils.... I can't imagine dealing with that much just to get food on the nation's table. It's totally mind blowing.
Seriously,... watch this and then watch it again. 10 of 10 stars.
Aquaman (2018)
Momoa almost saved it
Honestly I'd watch almost anything Jason Mamoa make. He's funny and a great action star as well. But, they made a mistake with Amber Heard. She was awkward and boring in the role. Someone edgier would have been a great pairing with Momoa.
Monsters: Dark Continent (2014)
Should be been called Monsters: we're also here
That was the longest 8-hour movie of my life. The metaphore was the aliens wandering through the scenes as random flotsam representing the script... or as we call it, "an attempt was made"
Hubie Halloween (2020)
What? Why?
With all those comedians in one film I expected a great movie! The Waterboy voice again made it so hard to watch. I made it over an hour into this and had to turn it off. So. Bad. So, so bad.
Muppets Now (2020)
Hoping it gets better
The first episode doesn't feel like The Muppets. Kermit doesn't sound or move the same, and with the exception it RuPaul the guests fell flat.
I really hope Disney does this right and doesn't try to make the characters too hip/modern. They tried with Muppets from Space, and it tried too hard to be edgy.
