Judge Judy (1996)
Love Judge Judy!!
In today's society thank God we still have a voice of reason, someone who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. This is the real reason why some people can't stand Judge Judy. We have become a weak, immoral, entitled, self-centered society who would rather blame others for our shortcomings instead of taking responsibility for anything anymore. This is also the exact reason why Barack Obama sits in the White House right now. Judge Judy doesn't do any of that stuff. Judge Judy went to law school, raised 5 children, worked as a prosecutor and a family court judge. She obviously raised her kids right as all of them have gone on to become successful(which I can't say for many of the crap parents that appear on Judge Judy's show). I would love to have Judge Judy's job. I have to grin and bear it when I deal with idiots in my job while Judge Judy gets to put them in their place for a living(and gets paid well for doing it). Judge Judy is living her dream life and it is well deserved.
Forever Young (2013)
Kind of insulted by this show.
I am only 32 so I am technically in the generation of the younger folks on this show. I have known personal computers and computers all my life and I have been familiar with the internet since middle school. I have never used a typewriter in my life and I know no one my age who has. I grew up with video games like Nintendo, Sega, N64, etc. My dad also had a car phone as far back as I can remember and I was in my late teens when I got my first cell phone. I was in my very early 20s when texting came of age, and was in my mid 20s when Facebook and Myspace come along. I hate how the younger category on this show is under 30. It makes it sound like people around my age(who aren't that much older than the younger people on this show)are more like the 70 year olds. Give me a break.
Hot in Cleveland (2010)
Great show!
Valerie Bertinelli, Wendy Malick, and Jane Leeves star as three beautiful, middle aged entertainment veterans from shallow, youth obsessed Hollywood where keeping a career past the age of 40 is a rarity, especially for women. They move in with a sarcastic elderly Polish woman played by the legendary Betty White. White's character Elka also seems to be loosely based on the character of Sophia Petrillo from her hit '80s show The Golden Girls, while the characters played by Bertinelli, Malick and Leeves seem to mirror Blanche, Dorothy and Rose from that same show in many ways. The show has also had some notable guest stars such as Mary Tyler Moore, Susan Lucci, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
The Net (1995)
Most of the reviewers here must be born after 1990 or born before 1950
This was made in 1994-1995 at the beginning of the internet craze and the dot-com bubble, and this movie was wholly appropriate for the time era considering many people were just starting to get on the internet at this time. There are a lot of flaws in this film I agree, which is why I have rated it a 6, but my main complaint here is some of the reviewers on this site. Granted this movie was made at the beginning of the internet era, but some people on here make it sound like 1995 was back in the "horse and buggy" days. Either they were born after 1990 and don't remember a time without the internet or they are old as heck and were finally dragged down to the computer store just recently by their kids to get their very first computer.
