Just note scary
28 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I take great pleasure in watching some of the classic horror movies like The Omen and The Exorcist from the 70s and 80s. But this just is not one of them. It feels like more of a sci-fi than a scary movie. Pass on this if you like a truly spine-chilling scary movie.

The actual plot of the movie makes sense once you get to the end, but the execution just does not. While it was the 80s, the special effects are still a little way over the top and more comical then building to the "fear factor". The movie also meanders a little before finally getting to the supposedly scary stuff. The cast of characters includes your usual ghost busters that come in to save the day...

If you're a big Def Leppard fan, this comes up short

I've seen the band 6 times in the last 5 years and I think this film really did not do the live show justice. Probably over-mixed on the audio. Secondly, the intro footage and clips are all recycled from prior VHS/DVD releases. Further, the actual show in Vegas had a whole set by Ded Flatbird, the parody tribute band which does not show up anywhere in this video. Would have also been nice to see more behind-the-scenes footage during the run of shows in Vegas.

The quality of the band's performance is top-notch, albeit Joe's vocals are clearly under pressure. If you have never seen Def Leppard live, go watch this film.

Gripping, moving..frightening

A must see for formula 1 and motor-sport fans. Formula 1 used to be different from what we see today and, in addition to this unique insight into Ayrton's life, it also brings a lot of F1's skeletons out of the closet.

I have never watched a documentary so moving. Right from the brilliant on-board footage of the racing cars to very real narrative by Ayrton himself.

Brilliant work. The entire film is made with archived footage, most of which is very rare. The filmmakers do a great job of bringing some of the key characters in F1, and in Ayrton's personal life to the forefront.
