I saw this film a decade ago as a teenager. I don't remember seeing a movie, per se; I remember it as I remember a dream, or perhaps a nightmare. It's a fuzzy yet indelible memory. To this day, I'm not quite sure if I saw what I remember seeing. I will probably end up watching it again to make sure, but then a week later I'll be wondering again.
As evidenced by many comments and my own personal experience, this film obviously has some strong hypnotic power that infests the viewer's mind. Maybe the Aykroyds have a plan, like for world domination via secret message implantation in our minds. They're turning us into sleeper agents to be activated when the sequel is made.
If you think what I have just said is weird or surreal, then you haven't seen "Nothing But Trouble" yet.
