very different!!!

"Trial on the street" is quite realistic both in dialogue and narration, the characters and events in the movie are more tangible, convincing;characters are less heroic and symbolic.there is less exaggeration in every aspect of the movie compared to his other works,(this factor might make the movie less exciting for kimiaei's fans).the movie does not try to entertain you or surprise you as much as it attempts to simply tell a story that is sure as hell worth telling. a beautiful ending that makes you think about the brutality and cruelty of what you just witnessed,The Human Nature. I can't say its his strongest work after the revolution but it is the most versatile one,the movie is depicting quite a few new and interesting ideas and holds thousands of promises for his movies to come.

trying to be recognized!

Warning: Spoilers
OK lets make it quick, the script restlessly tried to be one with great dialogs, but they were rather disturbingly irrelevant to the events that has occurred in the story.the movie's ending ,everything it has shown us pretty much cried out loud the fact that nothing changes, but russel crowe's punch line for the final sentence of the movie is "maybe today something changes".he didn't kill her but that doesn't mean he's changed!!!! tried to be considered a deep meaningful piece,it just tried and it didn't succeed. the essence of the movie was supposed to be "death" or something but it didn't highlight any feelings in particular.none.nothing.empty.i was disappointed. it just didn't give me anything.

Not only Movie ,A WHOLE NEW WORLD!!!

Not lots of people will understand this fully, may find it even boring, some might understand none of it,because its a work of unique ART created by the fantastic sight of the director, performances of depardieu and polanski.it doesn't get more tense as it goes along?! No,it seems unreasonable to do that, since every moment of this is more tense than anything you've ever felt in your life esp. the ending,I didn't think that it's a story about a crime not even for a second, its a story about the very being of each one of us. one thing the movie tries to tell us is that onoff somehow regrets what he has done, because he makes that call, that call that he would have never made in his life.now he finally understands what was the right thing to do and he doesn't even care that its too late to make that call! he is sure enough to go for it.
