Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey (2000)
Damn I wish Bruce was alive!
I love this documentary because it gives a better image of who Bruce really was and how much of a great hard worker and perfectionist he was. The only thing that kills me about this documentary is when they talk about the tv series Kung fu. Everybody and their momma know that Bruce should have been playing that role instead of that worthless Carradine. This shows you what type of world we live in. But anyway, I loved the Game of Death footage because of the offbeat comedy between Bruce and his buddies. I liked the way in which Bruce is relaxed and how his buddies sit back and watch him save the day. I really appreciated the lost footage especially compared to that sorry crap they put together back in 1978. Robert Clouse should have his ass kicked for making that garbage. Overall I highly recommend for everyone especially Bruce fans like myself. 4.5 out of 5.
X2 (2003)
One hell of a sequel!
The first X-Men was great and the sequel was even better unlike some other sequels like Kickboxer 2 damn sorry and Batman Forever sucks. Anyway, Hugh Jackman was born to play Wolverine and he simply kicks butt. Stewart and Mckellen easily prove why they are great veteran actors and the supporting cast is excellent lending great weight to the movie. I enjoyed the special effects and humor and some jokes had me rolling. Mystique is one sexy blue motherlover and Storm and Jean Grey are the sexiest mutants alive! But overall, great new characters, good actors, compelling special effects, and a decent storyline provide us with an unforgettable movie. 4 out of 5!
Spider-Man (2002)
Good movie!
Spiderman was far better than what i expected because i was getting a little weary of these super hero movies about a man getting hit upside the head with a radioactive skillet or drinking some milk that just happened to be contaminated with special powers. Tobey Maguire does a good job with providing the Peter Parker character with the innocence and kidness that gives him his great qualities. I enjoyed veteran actor Wilem Defoe as the Green Goblin even though the mask wasn't needed since Defoe already looks like the Goblin. Kirsten Dunst was hot as hell and she got the biggest nipples in the world! But overall Spiderman was a good timeless movie with sublime acting and fight sequences that are mind blowing. I give it a 4 out of 5
