super cool flick with a lot of style and grace...didn't like the ending but what can you say? The movie broke my heart. The pace and editing, the crazy camera work, the belevable performances make it a can't miss to the right audiences...I give it a 9 on the scale. Beautiful mommys too!!!

nice flick for family viewing. Positve message about ladies that don't conform to traditional beauty standards. See it and enjoy! There is nothing really offensive or objectionable. I give it a solid 7 out of 10.

Saw a bootleg VHS copy at School and I must say that this is one of the greatest, most inspirational films in recent times. It deserves to be released theatrically in the United States. The images and performances merit a wide audience outside of its native country. I give it a 10 out of 10!

This movie rocks. Its crazy, sexy and cool. Works as an art film and as an entertainment. I saw it twice in the theaters and twice on DVD. Alfonso is a great director and he deserves to be considered as one of the best working today. Reminds me of the New Wave flicks by Truffuat and Godard. See it in glorious color!
