Your Highness (2011)
Critics are idiots
16 August 2011
This movie was made to make you laugh and that is exactly what it does. No real depth or signifigant underlying message to speak of, just a lot of raunchy humor to split your sides. I laughed the whole way through the movie and you will too if you have at least one funny bone in your body. There is so much filthy humor in this movie that is in no way suitable for children, but hey we adults need some idiocracy of our own every now and then and that is exactly what this movie brings to the table. Purely brilliant idiocracy. The best kind there is. It has a great cast and Danny McBride is hilarious as usual. Definitely worth watching. Be forewarned, it is DIRTY!!!

Joe Estevez
5 January 2011
Joe Estevez is Martin Sheen's younger brother, if you can believe it. I personally believe Emilio is his illegitimate son. I mean, come on! They look exactly the same. He acts in some pretty awesome movies, too. Have you ever seen "Curse of the Werewolf" on Mystery Science Theater. Anyway, this movie is not good in any way, shape, or form. It is a complete failure as a zombie flick. I mean it is not even laughable one bit. It is just boring and painful to sit through, not like some other awesomely horrible flicks where you can watch, laugh, and point out all the bad acting, directing and mistakes in general. Believe me, you are better avoiding this one completely.

One word...WOW!

Warning: Spoilers
This film is terrible. As a matter of fact it's so terrible that you absolutely must watch it! This will have you laughing for the duration of the movie, though it is not supposed to be funny. But I guess that's part of what makes you laugh so hard. The "acting" is almost non-existent and the dialogue delivered without any real conviction. Some of the lines are just the corniest things you will ever hear. The main antagonist, zombie "king" Abbott Hayes, walks like a 70's pimp daddy and mutters guttural sounds and half-hearted shrieks as he comically wiggles his tongue. One may come to the conclusion that the actor portraying him is "special", which may be the case, since this whole "film" could be considered "special". But if that's the case, I guess it would be rude to laugh and point...screw it!! That's all you can do with this movie. It is horrible, but WELL worth watching. Be sure to watch, just don't expect it to be good, expect it to be "good".

F**k you, ball-buster!

Okay, we have zombies, punk rockers, a punk rock soundtrack, violence, gore, nudity, one-liners, comedy, great special effects, gratuitous profanity, an old creepy/shady mortician, an old cool caddy, brains, cheesy acting(where needed), dissected dogs, three sweet settings, and an awesome plot...BOOM! What else do you need? This movie has been one of my favorites for the past 25 years. This is by far one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. Hilarious when it needs to be and sadistically chilling when the plot calls for it. This movie will be remembered for years to come. A definite cult classic. If you have never watched this movie then you are depraving yourself. Watch this movie...again and again!

Potential without hope
22 January 2010
I first watched this movie back in 1986 when I was 9 years old and thought it was great. Well 24 years later the name of the movie popped back in my head and I knew I had to track it down. Upon re-watching this flick I was absolutely floored at how atrocious it is. This is truly a completely inept movie. Everything from the cinematography to the acting to the sound is utterly pathetic. It's pretty obvious it was not produced by professionals, but a group of friends who wanted to do something fun. And it is fun, it's just not good. I still watch it from time to time because I am a die hard zombie fan. The one thing about the movie that is truly good is the plot behind it. The idea of stealing the diary of a confederate general from the church which in turn brings back the dead soldiers who kill and devour those who stole it is great. If you can get past all the other things that cripple this movie, it's worth watching just for the plot. The group who made this movie did have a pretty cool and original idea for a zombie flick. The problem was, they didn't have the resources to make it what it could of been.
