Return to Christmas Creek (2018)
Decent but forgettable
Obviously with the sheer volume of movies Hallmark puts out at Christmas they can't all be great. This one was ok but nothing particularly special or memorable. Tori Anderson was delightful, hopefully she gets another shot as a Hallmark lead in the future.
Christmas Joy (2018)
Better than most
A really nice way to spend a couple hours. Good story but its the leads who make this one so charming.
Christmas in Love (2018)
Predictable but enjoyable
There is nothing about this movie that isn't just another Hallmark standard formula but Brooke D'Orsay makes up for it with her charm. She and Daniel Lissing play off of each well which makes what could be a boring movie legitimately enjoyable.
Road to Christmas (2018)
Pretty good
This was better than expected, the story was a bit different which is nice to see from Hallmark, the acting was good and it had some genuine emotion.
Marrying Father Christmas (2018)
Sweet wedding movie
Niall and Erin are once again great together, nice addition to the series.
A Veteran's Christmas (2018)
Dogs make everything better
Pretty good story. Eloise Mumford is great, Sean Faris' acting is a bit hammy at times but not so bad that its unwatchable.
Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa (2018)
Sweet
Jill Wagner is becoming one of my favorite Hallmark ladies. This wasn't as good as her Christmas Cookies from a couple years ago but it was still a warm and lovely movie.
Christmas at Pemberley Manor (2018)
Not bad
I love Michael Rady but of his recent Hallmark Christmas movies this is my least favorite. The story is blah and I don't know why but I have a really hard time enjoying movies with Jessica Lowndes, theres just something about her that rubs me the wrong way.
It's Christmas, Eve (2018)
Surprisingly good
I'm not big on the more music focused Hallmark movies and I always have very low expectations of singers acting but I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Leann Rimes' acting was a bit stiff but definitely much better than I had thought it would be, and the music in the movie wasn't too much. All in all a solid Hallmark Christmas movie.
Christmas at Graceland (2018)
Not good
Hallmark movies are my guilty pleasure. I know everything that will happen but I love them anyway. I don't expect Oscar worthy acting but this was a huge miss in casting Kellie Pickler. I don't care about her twang or if she "looked old" or any of those criticisms, her acting was just straight up bad to the point where I almost didn't finish the movie. The little girl who played her daughter was infinitely better at acting. Wes Brown was great and made their joint scenes tolerable but even he couldn't save this movie.
