Sekiryû no onna (2006)
Terrible movie
The basic story is that the daughter of a slain Osaka mafia member seeks revenge on the people that killed her father. She uses a sword to track them down and kill them.
My father sent this to me as a gift but I don't know if I'd recommend this even if you got it for free. Definitely not worth a rental unless you're into bad acting and bad martial arts.
None of the actors really does any good in this movie. The main character, played by Yu Misaki, is wooden and obviously cast to get a pretty face on the cover. Her only credits are some fashion awards. The only actor worth anything is the café owner, played by Kenji Ohba. He has some decent action scenes and the only decent acting in the film.
Another member commented that the ending ruined it, but I don't think it deviates at all from the quality of the rest of the film. Bad script, mostly bad acting, poor action, and terrible direction. Don't bother.
