The story lines are so drawn out like watching something in slow motion The production is very clever because it literally goes around in circles and very limited story lines which are padded out for long periods with out much happening ...watch it and you will see what I mean but my wife loves it !!!

I just rewatched A View to a Kill and in my opinion it is a good fun movie that holds up well but when it first came out I did think it was a little ridiculous but 36 years later I view it completely differently which is strange and Christopher Walken was excellent .

The baddy didnt get much of a look in but a very well polished movie and all very exciting from start to finish.

I must say you Brits are spoilt with great TV drama and this is no exception.

Reading the other reviews are great fun and you cannot please some people.

This mini series is just a story but the majority of us really do not worry about if something is accurate or exactly correct because its entertainment for one to enjoy and watch something different.

What a fun film with a very good cast of actors but Grillo really takes center stage and I hope to see more of him in the future ,,,brilliant.

Filming looks like July and August of 1976 with the "Heatwave" and all the actors are sweating a lot .

As soon as the UK Government appointed a Minister of Drought in late August the Heatwave broke just before I went back to school and this was all before Global warming or Climate change !!

This film is a hidden gem and I cannot understand why its never been broadcast on UK tv screens.

Advert for a Chrysler Voyager in many different colours !! Product placement at its best Anyway lots of great actors but nothing like the original with Edward Fox which is a classic and story telling at its finest.

Its lucky Arthur Penn got sacked after 3 days of being director on this movie on the instructions of Burt Lancaster or we would be watching a completely different film.

I have watched this a couple of times and its just incredible and Burt Lancaster was really one of the greatest actors and just such an interesting actor to watch plus his stunts and his whole body language and how he holds his body plus the film is just wonderful in B + W and it makes you feel you are in 1944 Its a unknown film underrated and very exciting and you feel the tension.

I expect you have stumbled on this great movie and wondering to yourself how you missed it first time around !!

I have watched it a number of times over the years and never get bored with it and Mel Gibson is a very fine actor and is well worth watching in this thriller.

I always thought this film was about Toy Soldiers that you play with as a kid !!!

Anyway I just watched this fun film for the first time and seriously very surprised and do not worry about the critics because they do not have a clue what me or you like .

Seriously search out this film.

Good acting and quality film well produced I gave it a 8 because the ratings are too low in my opinion and need bumping up.

Non stop action and if you like action and comedy and the underdog fighting back then this is one for you and I missed this when it first came out and I am pleased I watched this.

I see alot of people complaining that most of the actors are english speakers but the biggest market for selling a TV series is the english speaking World Anyway it is very well done and the lead actor is excellent and I think he is Swedish so whats the problem.

I remember watching this 19 years ago and thought what a ridiculous plot and today I rewatched it and THAT CAR " appeared and you have to laugh or cry and why such a ridiculous story and why Iceland and nothing original and lucky Jason Bourne arrived on the scene or James Bond would of continued on a downward spiral.

You have to watch it and the first 40 minutes is quiet good but suddenly the storyline is taken over by someone that has other ideas !!! Anyway he was never asked back and he was sent back to his ice cave in Antartica after having a 2 week holiday in North Korea.

Sorry but in my opinion which isnt worth much !!! The filming and settings are beautiful and the British public must of lapped it up in 1992 but the story is all over the place and Morse has got more power than Interpol or Europol Not sure I watched this back in 1992 but just watched it today and Morse and Lewis need to get back to Oxford sharpish and leaving the reservation for this story is just an excuse for a holiday .

Very clever and top notch production I am surprised at how good this film is Well thought out story.

Easy to watch and learning something at the same time and the presenter does a good job.

Its not what I would normally watch but Netflix seems to like all those drug crime film .... Watch this you will enjoy it.

I last watched this 11 years and thought it was very well done and really shows off the real side of Britain ...Everyone likes to see villages with cute little pubs but this is the face of inner city Britain with all its social problems .

Sir Michael Caine nails his part in this film and maybe one of his finest films.

This series is incredible and its a must see Writing and acting are a pleasure to watch and listen to.

Superb and wonderful and very thought provoking .

Television at its best and why do the British make such good programs across the board.

Wonderful film with wonderful actors and great story plus Gabin is the greatest actor I dont understand some rather low scoring and sorry its not Rambo but Hollywood has copied many ideas from European films

I saw this film years ago when I was much younger and it was just another movie but 35 odd years later you understand what the story is about and its all very clever indeed

Wonderful story telling from start to finish Tom Hanks is so good and just gets better like a fine wine I just enjoyed it so much

Three great actors and a well paced film and what more can you ask for !!! Underrated film and a good story and nice locations Worth watching

What an amazing film with a very complicated story line but it is worth the watch and with great actors

I reckon I enjoy it more 40 years on or maybe I see it in a different light than back then!! Very well produced and great story telling and acting
